Just had my wisdom teeth pulled out about two days ago and I had a great experience with Dr. Kang and all who work at his office. It is an extremely nice office, with very professional office staff and they also make you feel very comfortable.
Dr. Kang himself is very professional and nice man, which you can tell he tries to make your experience with him a good one. The procedure went very well and I have had little to no discomfort. And after the procedure was completed he sent me home with a little goodie bag as well as a follow up call about 30 min after I got home to make sure all was well.
I would recommend him to absolutely anyone in need of getting their wisdom teeth pulled out or in need of any other oral surgery service he can provide! Definitely a great man who is very good at what he does.

Omg!!! I had the absolute best experience at Dr Kang’s office!!! I was soooo scared going under. Boy I tell you it felt Like two seconds being out to being completely finish. Wow. I mean where did the time go. As of now day two I have zero pain. What?! I’m just in shock. Have pain meds haven’t even used them. Again I can’t tell you enough if you are in fear of getting a Tooth extracted please don’t put it off go to Dr. Kang! His entire staff were super sweet and caring. One of the girl’s held my hand while I was getting an IV. Which I can tell you didn’t hurt at all I had no idea IV WAS in and I am known as a very hard stick. I am super impressed! I will be recommend him to anyone for real. Thank you to every one at Dr. Kang office. Dr. Kang you rock keep up the good work.

I just had all four of my wisdom teeth extracted yesterday morning (with a slight head cold, but it affected nothing). Everyone at Dr. Kang’s office is incredibly sweet, professional, and they make you feel welcome. Shannon, in particular, has an amazing sense of humor! Dr. Kang himself is professional, straightforward, and friendly.
The office itself has a cozy, homey feel that put me at ease. The operating room contained relaxing portraits and a soft piano soundtrack. As they were prepping me, one of the assistants complimented my shoes and we had a brief, casual conversation, which helped me relax a little. Less than a minute after the IV was in my arm, I was under — I don’t remember my eyes closing. When I came to, I thought they were still preparing me for surgery for a moment. But I asked if we were done, and they said yes! It felt like less than a second had passed.
Despite my wisdoms being impacted, they said the surgery was very easy. It took about 45 minutes. I was sent home with a beautiful carnation flower (nice touch!). Everyone’s experience will differ, but today, on my second day of recovery, I only have cheek swelling and a little pain on my lower left extraction site. Despite filling the prescription for Vicodin, I have only taken normal strength acetaminophen for the pain and it works beautifully. I have also iced the area periodically. I have been taking my antibiotics. Just follow Dr. Kang’s instructions (which he sends you home with) and you will be great! EDIT: I almost forgot to mention that Dr. Kang called to check in with me the same evening of my extraction, which is awesome.
The whole experience was virtually painless and very satisfying. I will note that this was my very first time being put to sleep, and I would have no issues or fears doing it again after this experience. Thank you Dr. Kang and all who work in his office for your great work!

My adult son had all four impacted wisdom teeth extracted a few days ago by Dr. Kang. He and his staff are very professional. The office is clean and very beautiful. Dr. Kang was very informative and kind. My son experienced minimal discomfort and is healing nicely. Being in the dental profession myself, I would recommend this office to friends and family in a heart beat! Thank you to Dr. Kang and his staff for a great experience!!! =)

Just want to thank everyone at Dr. Kangs office. I started getting really nervous when they laid me down and started to connect me to stuff so the nurse was talking to me about my husky & let me squeeze her hand. It kept me calm & last thing i remember is saying Hawaii & I was out. Felt like I woke up 5 minutes later. They did a great job. Haven’t been in much pain. Just some soreness. Definitely recommend them to anyone that is super nervous about getting their wisdom teeth removed.

I can’t imagine having a better experience with a doctor. Dr. Kang extracted my wisdom teeth the other day. He went above and beyond in all facets of care. He was great at explaining everything before the surgery — taking his time and making sure that I was an informed patient. After the surgery his care and bedside manner was even more thoughtful and genuine. It would be great if other physicians and caregivers could take pointers from Dr. Kang.
I can’t recommend Dr. Kang highly enough.

Excellent at what he does. Went in for a wisdom tooth extraction and it didn’t take long at all. He’s very professional and nice as is his staff. The procedure went painless and normally everything hurts when I go to the dentist so for this to not hurt at all during the procedure was very impressive to me. I had something called dry socket afterwards but he has been very flexible about me coming in to change this piece of cloth out that has some medicine on it that clears up the pain pretty quick. He also called me the night of the procedure to make sure I was doing well. No one has ever done that before! Thank you Dr. Kang and staff.

Today, after about 3 years of putting it off, I got my wisdom teeth removed by Dr.Kang.
I have never even had a filling and have major anxiety when it comes to dental work. When I went into the room I started crying as I went through the motions, the assistants were all amazing, they all wiped my tears and held my hands and reassured me. Before I knew it I was out and then waking up. When I woke up everything was all cleaned up and it was like nothing happened, other than being extremely numb. I was not drowsy or in pain at all. It has been 8 hours since I’ve been home and so far the worst part is being numb. I have not taken any of the norco I was given, only ibuprofen. It is much less painful than I was anticipating. I would definitely recommend him to everyone!!!

I haven’t nothing but great things to say about Dr. Kang and his wonderful staff. He removed my wisdom teeth and I was very nervous about it and his staff immediately put me on ease. His receptionist/​biller Shannon is such a delight along with his assistants. I haven’t had any problems post operatively at all. Will recommend to everyone!

I had my first experience with Dr. Kang and his staff today on an emergency basis and I couldn’t be any more pleased with the entire visit. My regular dentist had called ahead to let them know I was coming and that I was in severe pain from a tooth that required extraction. The receptionist knew who I was as I walked through the door and had my paperwork all ready for me. Dr. Kang took loads of time going over my x-​ray with me, using a pen-​type mouse to illustrate on the digital x-​ray monitor why I was in pain, why the tooth had to come out, and detailing the extraction procedure. After a brief snafu with my insurance, which the receptionist bent over backwards to help me resolve, I was called into the surgical suite. From the moment I sat down in the chair, I was instantly confident that they were going to take good care of me. Throughout the entire procedure, Dr. Kang was careful to explain what he was going to do BEFORE he did it, and when I started to feel some discomfort, the two technicians assisting him each took one of my hands in theirs and told me to go ahead and squeeze if I needed to! What an awesome bedside manner! The procedure was very quick and, even though I have weird nerves in my mouth that make it nearly impossible to get me completely numb, I felt very little pain during the whole thing. When I was ready for discharge, Dr. Kang himself gave me my postoperative instructions and then presented me with a red carnation. About an hour after I left, even though the clinic had been closed for 45 minutes, Dr. Kang personally called to make sure I was doing well and hadn’t had any complications. I highly recommend Dr. Kang for any of your oral surgery needs!

I was at a loss on where to take my daughter to get her wisdom teeth pulled. The oral surgeon I had used before had retired. Dr. Kang took over his practice. When I called the office to schedule and appointment, the scheduler was nice, professional, and informative. On the day of the appointment, my mind was put at ease as soon as I met Dr. Kang. He explained the procedure thoroughly and was extremely nice. The procedure went fast and well, and my daughter did not have any complications. Dr Kang called later that day to check on her to see how she was doing. I highly recommend him.

So 13 years ago it was suggested that I get all four of my wisdom teeth removed. Being the big baby I am I put it off as long as possible. The time finally came my dentist said it couldn’t wait any longer.
I went to the consultation without my fiancé or mom. I was instantly comfortable. Not usually something that happens when you talk to me about surgery. My x-​rays from my regular dentist did not come out so clearly so Dr. Kang’s office ran another set on their machine (very quick!). The doctor spent adequate time going over all the pros & cons and telling me what to expect. The receptionist staff was very friendly and helped me get my appointment any payment options set up.
The big day, I had to keep telling myself to breathe. I’d never been under anesthesia before so my nerves were jittery. Shannon (I think that was her name) the receptionist took us right into the consultation room and answered all my last minute questions. She helped keep the mood light and was very reassuring. When the nursing assistant came and got me everything moved very quickly and smoothly. The doctor made sure I was comfortable in the chair, the IV was started and I was out like a light before I really even knew it. The procedure itself lasted about an hour and I was told everything went smoothly. I only remember bits and pieces of coming to. Apparently they asked me if I wanted to keep my teeth, and I said yes so they packaged them up for me. My numbing lasted all day which was good so I wasn’t uncomfortable. The doctor called to check up on me in the evening.
I go back in about a week for my follow up. All in all for being a painful procedure it was very pleasant.

I just went to have a tooth extracted, and I’m petrified of the needles. Dr. Kang should be nicknamed «Painless»! I hardly felt the novacain needles, and extraction itself was completely fine. I would recommend Dr. Kang to anyone needing an oral surgeon.
