Murphy Pools & Spas

Talk about horrible service. We are getting estimates for a pool and spa.(we are paying cash w/​budget of 70,000). We called a couple places. And Murphy pools was our first. The lady that originally answered was very sweet. She said she would have Brian call us back. We waited all day. Then the next day we received a txt message.(Very unprofessional). Stating my husbands vm was full and that he didnt want our business?. My husband is a business man. And yes he gets lots of unknown calls. And his vm was full. but to receive a txt like that… horrible!!! So we actually now have a contact with another pool company. That accommodated our needs. And a company that wants business. We looked around all over the Antelope Valley for pool builders and Murphy Pools and Spas was the best one out there. We called several pool builders for estimates and they would send some representative over that would give us a quick measurement and estimate, but when it came to basic questions, they did not know how to answer them. Brian Murphy came out himself and did a walkthrough of our backyard and gave us specific details on how the job would get done. He answered all our questions and provided us with an estimate. Brian sat down with us and took the time to draw out a pool to our liking and even had it digitally designed on his computer program, so we knew how the pool would look like before it was even built. Brian fully explained his work and did not «sugar coat» anything. Brian was on site throughout the entire time the pool was being built (unlike most pool builder contractors) and he even called us on a regular basis, letting us know what was getting done and what they would be working on next. Brian completed the pool in a timely manner and took his time to do a good job also. Brian takes pride in his work. We were very happy with the end result. Brian has excellent customer service. Even to this day, we can call him with basic pool questions and he is always very helpful. We highly recommend him!

The best decision my husband and I made when deciding to put in a pool was choosing Murphy’s pools and spas. When receiving estimates from other pool companies, we never met the actual owner. They sent workers out to give the estimate. Not with Murphy pools and spas, it was the owner Brian Murphy himself ! He gave us a quote and had an awesome computer program that showed us EXACTLY what the pool would look like! We could see the shape, placement, and even as if you were swimming under water what the pool would look like. Pretty cool. As soon as we gave the go ahead to begin building, they started the exact date discussed. Workers were always on time, and clean. Brian was always coming by to see things over and had a great relationship with all his workers. If my husband ever had a question he could call or text Brian and Brian would get back to him within the day. Our pool was done before schedule and the whole process went off without a hitch. Our pool and spa is so beautiful, we could not be happier. Thank you so much Brian for an awesome pool and overall experience!
