My overhead door broke and I was unable to use it. I called Academy and they set me up with an appointment for 8:00 am next day. I received a courtesy call at about 7:30 am and Jason arrived right at 8:00. He diagnosed the problem, fixed the door, and was on his way by 9:00 am. The whole process was extremely quick and easy. My garage door works great and is very smooth and quiet now as well.

I called in the morning and by the time I got home from work, Shawn was there and worked for several hours to fix a broken spring on my garage door. He worked an extra hour and only charged me for parts when he discovered a problem with the cables he didn’t notice on first inspection. I’m a very satisfied customer.

I had a safety issue with my garage door opener and found Academy Overhead Door on Angie’s List. Their reviews were great and there was a coupon so I thought I’d try them out. I called them on Monday morning and Shawn came to repair the garage door opener that day. Shawn on time, polite and very informative. He wrote a clear and concise estimate and made recommendations. The estimate was less that I thought it would be and included basic maintenance as well! Shawn completed the work in less than an hour and the garage door opener has never worked better! Had a spring pop on my garage door and I needed someone to get it fixed ASAP so I could get my cars out. .. they got me scheduled right away and Anthony was on my doorstep within an hour. In less than two hours, the new springs were installed and I was on my way. Their prices were reasonable and Anthony was very polite and helpful. Impressive service!

Do not trust this company. they quoted one price to do some work and when they arrived to do the work they increased the price. they would not honor the price to me. also I bought a Groupon coupon to service my garage door and since they serviced it there is a popping noise that was not there before. No amount of contact with the company would get them to honor their word

This was an after hours, emergency repair situation, whereby our garage door would not close. Academy Overhead Door sent Zach over to fix it, and he had it fixed within the hour! He was very courteous and explained the situation to me easily so that I could relay it to the landlord. Thanks, Zach!

I bought a coupon from angies list. Matthew came out on time explained everything here is going to do. Later came to the door and suggested I should replace my rollers. I could see they were rusted and worn. No hard sell just a suggestion. The new rollers had nylon on me you roller part and were warranted for life. I agreed and he was done in a short while with all his adjustments. The gar age door was the quietest it has ever been.

As soon as the guy showed up I told him I had a hard stop in 90 minutes which he quickly let me know he would be long gone by then. He was right! 45 minutes flat and he installed a new opener, replaced the rollers, and greased up my tracks. He was professional, honest, and quick. I will definitely call them again for future service if I ever need it and will highly recommend to friends.
