LOVE this place. He’s a great cook with a lot of range in the menu. My favorite is the burgers (with the caramelized onions), and the apple pies!
Always top notch and friendly service. We look forward to going there anytime we’re in the area.

THE BEST BISCUITS either of us have ever had. Great breakfast potatoes and country ham as well, and a killer cup of coffee. Looking forward to stopping in for pastries in the future!

This place is a hidden gem. Jason, the owner and chef, has incredible customer service, excellent food and the presentation of food that you’d find at a five-​star restaurant. He definitely puts his passion for cooking into everything he makes. Even the brownie I got for desert was placed on an artistic bed of chocolate syrup with a spritz of whipped crème. The burgers are the best of all the restaurants in the Palmyra/​Fluvanna area. He does something with onions caramelized with balsamic vinegar and honey. This is a breakfast, lunch and dinner place… small, with four tables, but that makes it so much more personal. Free WiFi, television with news on for business folks, picnic tables outside… I stumbled upon it while looking for another business and am glad I did. Jason is a true foodie who understands food is art as well as sustenance. If you’re looking for an alternative to the Dogwood or Riverside or Sals, try Doughboy’s… I’ve been several times and always take home a carton of chicken salad, or a Greek Salad to go. Try it. It’s next to the nursery, gray house off 53 on the way to Food Lion.
