ER Direct provides a broad range of medical diagnosis and treatment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at your home or office. Our Board Certified doctors and clinicians carry blood testing equipment, can obtain x-​rays and ultrasounds, can provide intravenous hydration and medications, treat sprains and fractures, diagnose and treat flu and colds, alleviate stomach conditions, as well as countless other ailments at any time and place that is most convenient for you. We provide efficient, affordable care to help people avoid the excessive costs and wait times faced in Emergency Departments and Urgent Care centers.

History

Established in 2010.

After years of work in the emergency department, we realized that the cost of care, the delays in treatment and lack of personalized attention required a better, more convenient service and ER Direct was born.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Dr. Djavaherian attended Stanford University where he received his BS and MS in Biological Science and performed research on Cytomegalovirus through a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Grant. He taught High School at Andrew Hill High School in San Jose California prior to entering medical school at the University of Rochester where he received his MD with Distinction in Research.

He began his medical career at New York-​Presbyterian Hospital, The University Hospital of Columbia and Cornell where he developed his clinical skills in emergency medicine and served as Chief Resident, receiving multiple awards for research and teaching. Dr. Djavaherian also served as an instructor for the New York Academy of Medicine’s course in the field of Evidence-​Based Medicine.

At the Weill-​Cornell Medical Center, Dr. Djavaherian held the faculty position of Instructor in Medicine while also serving as the physician lead for Emergency Medical Informatics in the Division of Emergency Medicine. He has conti
