and my credit card was stolen. My boyfriend later discovered that their website security certificate was broken and anyone could see my credit card number. Spent an hour on the phone with the bank. To add insult to injury, I never heard back from them. No phone call and no email confirmation. very disappointed.

I was very impressed with Foldabikes, owned and operated by Channel Wasson. I called in advance to let Channel know I was interested in a Brompton with 6 gears. When I arrived at his bike shop/​garage (operated out of the backyard of his home I believe) the following day he had many different 6 gear bikes on display with lowered gearing, a variety of seats (standard, extended and telescoping), several different color combinations and all kinds of add on accessories. I got to test ride a couple of my favorite bikes and made my purchase! Channel is very friendly and truly tailored the experience to my biking needs. If you are looking for a specific type of Brompton and want to buy from one of the most experienced and knowledgeable dealers in the Bay area I would highly recommend visiting Channel at Foldabikes!
