He is particularly great at color, providing not only the right color for me, but giving it lots of life and «natural» glow through his glazing magic. I have followed him to several locations. Even though he’s a bit further from me now, he’s worth the travel time! I always received compliments after a visit to him!

James is phenomenal when it comes to color. He really listens and gives me the perfect color. I’ve gone from dark brown to light brown and back to dark and every time James masters my color transformations perfectly. I also had the brazilian straightening treatment and he really took his time to make sure it was perfect. My hair was straight, no frizz and looked amazing! I can’t recommend him enough.

James is AMAZING! Cut and color, you couldn’t find anyone better. He has the best quality of any stylist, which is that he is a wonderful listener, really taking the time and effort to give you what you want.
He’s in a beautiful salon in Palo Alto and it’s well worth it for the visit.

James is an artist. I had over processed dirty blonde hair. James did a two step process leaving it healthy and manageable. Best it looks in years. He made the process very comfortable because of his easy manner. Love the new warm highlights. I would highly recommend James. Love him!

Been going to James for a few years, I live an hour away, but have never found anyone that really understands what I want and can cut and style my hair. His cut is far superior to anyone I’ve ever gone to and there were many before James. Now he cuts my husbands hair and he’s very picky. We just make a lovely day of it since
he’s located to so many restaurants and shops.
