Established in 2009.

iBar, established in May of 2009 by Entrepreneur and Beauty Specialist, Vimaa Patel, who introduced the upscale boutique specializing in the art of Threading, Eyelash Extensions, Lash Perms and Permanent Make Up!

Vimaa, being an esthetician by trade, wanted to share her gift and passion with the rest of the community and create a better way for people to experience beauty services. Thus, iBar was founded, integrating Beauty, Fashion, and Culture. iBar has multiple locations throughout the Bay Area and also offers a wide variety of hand-​picked jewelry and clothing pieces, all now available in stores.

Our brilliant and gifted Threading Artists have mastered the ancient technique and guarantee precision along with unparalleled customer service. Quick, convenient, quality threading. I got a groupon to get started, but its so convenient when it is parked at the Willows, I’m sure I’ll be back when I run out of Groupon sessions. Inside the van it is cute and comfortable, and the woman the threaded my brows was friendly.

I have been there a couple of times and I am hooked. The girl who works Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays (sorry I can’t remember her name) is amazing. She does such a great job! She is quick but always goes back and makes sure my eyebrows look perfect. I use to go to a place in Foster City but this is now my go to place for my eyebrows. Eyebrows are $ 16 or $ 30 per month for unlimited eyebrow threading. Not the cheapest but well worth it!

Ive been to multiple places and no does it better than Monika! I believe in her work and that is why I’ve signed up for the monthly membership. My eyebrows look fabulous thanks to her. It’s defiantly worth a try and they also provide with monthly deals.

I used to visit iBar in their brick & mortar locations but this was my first trip to the mobile unit which seems to be spending a few days/​week in a parking spot adjacent to the Willows Market. (A little hard to spot, but it’s there.) The van is luxuriously decked out, but even so, it was a little stuffy on a warm day and with the motor running, impossible to forget that I was having my eyebrows done in a vehicle, albeit non-​moving. Apart from that, it was the quality work that I’ve come to expect from iBar, and this new business model makes a lot of sense.

My favorite place to get my brows done by far. I go to Monica who is an expert and knows exactly the shape your face needs. She has been slowly fixing the mess a previous salon in LA made to to my brows. She even shapes my 12 year old daughters brows using just a tiny bit of work and keeping them age appropriate. I love the concept of the new beauty mobile– its cozy and so cute!
