Description

Specialties

PerformanceGaines is a strength training team committed to changing the how and why people train. We work with clients who are frustrated with their current physical abilities and want more from their bodies. We help them move better, get stronger, and discover their inner athlete.

Here at PerformanceGaines, we believe that there is an intention behind every action — whether realized or not — and that creating an awareness of that purpose lends itself to a more meaningful training experience.

History

Established in 2009.

Typically, people start a workout routine because they want to get or stay in shape and have the energy to spend time at work and with family.

Unfortunately, the expectations and responsibilities of everyday life obscures best intentions and moves workouts to a lower priority, leaving people exhausted, burnt out and frustrated with themselves.

When people are frustrated and time crunched, trying workouts designed for someone else or generalized meal plans won’t cut it. If someone is in a mindset of fatigue or frustration, the actions taken will come from that place, and the results produced will leave them similarly frustrated.

Successful physical development is a combination of three things: motivation, because you need to have an intrinsic reason to make sacrifices, a timetable, to inform effective program scheduling, and honest communication, because knowing what you are capable of doing — and training within those means — promotes injury prevention and program consistency.
