We custom design and install audio, video, lighting, security, and energy management systems specifically for each client. Our professional management skills are unique, and our combined experience allows us to coordinate the installation along with your architect, designer and construction team to produce an expert result. History

Established in 1976.

Phoenix Systems was founded by Chris and Jana Stevens primarily to design and install audio/​video systems for homes and businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since 1976, Phoenix Systems’s areas of expertise have expanded to include theaters, networking, security, lighting, energy management and smart home control systems.

In 1989, Chris Stevens, founded the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA), serving as its president for several years. He and Jana worked to grow the association, and as a result of their pioneering efforts, Phoenix Systems received the association’s Lifetime Achievement Award, the industry’s highest honor.

Though our business has evolved, we continue with our commitment to our original mission: To create the highest quality music, movie, and control systems, seamlessly designed, professionally executed, and easy to use.
