RS Gallery & Framing, locally known as Richard Sumner Frames & Prints, has been doing business in Palo Alto, California since 1973.
We have over thirty years of experience in hand-made and custom frames. In addition to being a custom frame shop and art gallery, we are now a design resource for the public, as well as for interior and landscape designers.
We have expanded our retail store to include antique Chinese country furniture and ethnic antiquities and artifacts from such countries as Vietnam, Thailand, and India.
Our inventory includes hand embroidered Suzani pillows and spreads from Turkey, cashmere shawls, and a wide selection of vintage posters.

I have been working at RS Gallery for 25 years since I moved here from Turkey with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
Today I frame Silicon Valley’s most exclusive artwork and I do framing for the Stanford University hospital and local museums, among others.
In addition to being a custom frame shop and art gallery, I have expanded my retail store to include ethnic antiquities and artifacts from such countries as Vietnam, Thailand, and India.
