Dr. Ridgley is a GREAT orthordontist. I saw several before I selected him. He was very patient and thorough in explaining my options. He solved my dilemma on whether to go with full braces or removable retainers. He saved me thousands of dollars, and I am so happy with the results. I have returned to him this month to get a replacement retainer and was so pleased to find out that he has returned his practice to California. I had no problem getting in to see him. He is a very respected orthodontist in the area. I would not confuse office policy or staff with the quality of orthodonture care you will get from Dr. Ridgley.

Dr. Ridgley is the most unprofessional, and uncaring Orthodontist I happened to meet. He hardly ever communicated with me, during the period my son was his patient, (over 3 years). The only reason we continued to see him, was because we’d prepaid my son’s treatment at a private School Auction.
Dr. Ridgley no longer resides in CA, he currently uses Dr. Miranda Cox’s office, in Palo Alto on Welch Rd. He’s expensive and hardly ever is at the practice. We’re fortunate to have a nice Assistant, who was the main source of our communication. He missed/​changed a couple of appointments on me. I was charged $ 75.00 dollars per late and missed appointments, three times over the course of the treatment. He dismissed one fee after I disputed, I payed for one. Now, after I requested a letter stating that my son is no longer his patient, he refuses to do so, until I pay the remaining balance of the two late/​missed appointments.
On the letter he sent me today, he claims I owe him one appointment, plus the two late/​missed appointments with the interest on that. He stated clearly that the interest will continue to accrue, until he receives the payment on the balance I «owe» him. He also stated, «I believe we have been extremely fair regarding absorbing previous charges and incurred costs for continued failed appointments». What a Joke, or should I say Jerk?
Dr. Ridgley is unscrupulous, unprofessional, and a man with no integrity in my view. I «DO NOT» recommend him to anyone in need of an Orthodontist.
