Needed a nice bouquet for the gf quickly, and called them — they put together a wonderful bouquet with lots of great vibrant colors. Perfect!
Not easy to find, but if you map it, you’ll get there no problem.

I ordered flowers the day before I needed them. Though the order was very last minute, my particular requests were filled completely. The resulting arrangement was delivered as promised and I was very pleased with the results. Lovely design, excellent value for the dollar and professional service. I do not hesitate at all to recommend Stanford Floral Design.

Werner was my florist for my wedding in May and he did an incredible job! I know very little about flowers, but Werner was able to take what little guidance I was able to provide and created the most beautiful arrangements that suited the venue perfectly. It was extremely reasonably priced as well. On the day of, there were no issues, and Werner did a fantastic job coordinating with everyone. I highly recommend Werner for any event — he is great at his job.

Best best floral design ever! I ordered my bridal bouquet here. Werner is really nice and professional. After a few minutes discussion, he already knew what the most beautiful bouquet in my eyes would be, even though I didn’t have such a bouquet in my mind. He swiftly put together a tiny bundle of flowers as a sample; that tiny bouquet was very lovely. Even though I knew what to expect on my big day, when I actually received the bouquet I was surprised. It looked so stunning, so glorious.

Werner was attentive and helpful on the phone. I ordered flowers from Arizona for a sick family member. He immediately recognized the address/​area and said it would be done today. Glad I could call him direct and speak with the local owner. I want to support local businesses and their families.

My boyfriend has ordered flowers for me a number of times from Stanford Floral Design. I absolutely love the quality and the beautiful designs! The delivery is efficient and the flowers usually last a couple of weeks!

AMAZING! By far the best florist in the area. The website is really easy to use. The arrangements are so much more interesting than the normal banal ones you see in every florist and on every FTD like site. Werner Rogmans (the florist) delivered the flowers himself and will give the recipient a message — and my GF said he was really nice and kind. He totally made her day — and this is on top of the fact that the flowers are out of this world. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, and will definitely go out of my way to use Stanford Floral Design again. 5 Stars!

I was very delighted to have the owner pick me a bunch of flowers for dining table decoration. And he understands my need instantly, picked about 10 different flowers that was easy to arrange myself. good combination for the color.

I was looking through Stanford Floral Design website and came across many beautiful bouquets of flowers — each one perfectly crafted with elegance. You could just tell by looking at the bouquets that each one took a lot of time to do. Although they were on the pricy side, I decided to take the bullet and order one for my desk at work. The total came out to be $ 100 but i believe that it was well spent considering the short time frame, fast delivery, and good service.
My flowers didn’t look exactly like the one pictured online, so the company happily crafted a new bouquet for me. Basically, I got two bouquets for the price of one! (Not to mention… all of these were delivered within the SAME DAY at no extra cost. How awesome is that?!!)
The owner also called me to make sure that I liked them — -very commendable customer service. The bouquet lasted for about 2 weeks which was pretty long, considering that the stems were cut off and were inside the office all day. :) This vendor is here to stay in my books!

I was very pleasantly surprised by the roses I received last Friday! It was absolutely gorgeous and I loved it. My“mystery friend” that sent me the flowers told me that the owner was very friendly and the service was incredibly fast (he called within the same day, not sure when).
Although I didn’t order the flowers directly, the beautiful roses definitely made my day. They are still sitting beautifully in my living room. I now know where I would go the next time I need some flowers.

Whatever, open your own florist or leave it to the professionals.
I had the owner and some wonderful woman assist me on some flowers for a friend in the hospital. They both went out of their way to make me happy with a flower request that they didn’t have in that day. I’m exceptionally picky and give good direction when placing an order to a florist. They were more than happy to accommodate.
If you know what you want, then request it. If you don’t and have them make you an arrangement, you really don’t have room to criticize… Ellen

Ok flowers but services are good. I was able to order flowers to deliver to the hospital within 2 hours. Vert happy that they made it in time.

I got rave reviews about an arrangement I sent today to a family member who is being treated at Stanford University hospital.
I placed the order online a little after noon, and the arrangement was delivered the same day.

Werner did the flower design for our wedding. We loved everything he did! This included a bouquet, a corsage, centerpieces, and flower arrangement for escort cards.
Werner might not come across as a service-​industry overly-​friendly man, but he is warm. In addition, he is extremely knowledgeable about flowers, is capable of artistic design, and is sensible to details. We only had a rough idea and overall atmosphere that we like, so we brought some pictures from wedding magazines and a picture of my wedding dress. Warner came up with the design based those pictures, but he made it even more beautiful that we requested.
On the day of the wedding, there were some changes in our schedule, and we needed to pick up the bouquet early. Gladly, we found that it was already done, and everything was all set ahead of time. The delivery was very smooth. We highly recommend him to others.

I suggest you read this before you order from this florist.
Here’s what happened in my experience:
When I first called and started to ask some questions, I started getting another phone call on the other line that I had to take so I told the man I had to call back. He started yelling at me that I needed to explain what I wanted before I just hung up (um, I had another phone call), and he barely understood me. English isn’t his first language, which is fine, but if you are in the service industry, don’t speak English well, AND are rude, it doesn’t quite put me in the best mood.
When I called back, I explained that I wanted a beautiful, tasteful bouquet for condolences. I also said that I wanted my receipt e-​mailed to me. He informed me it would be easier to fax. My office doesn’t have a fax machine. I told him I needed it e-​mailed, and he said, «Fine. I will mail it in the mail to you.» OK, so you are a floral business and you don’t have a scanner or e-​mail.
Second thing that happened — I asked him for a picture of the bouquet BEFORE it was delivered out. He said he didn’t have a way to do that. He said he would have to ask some random customer who comes in to use their phone to send me a picture… ummm really? But then he said he would if he could find someone. Fine.
Then comes today… I get a picture from a random Palo Alto number. OK, the bouquet looks great, but a little over the top for «sympathy/​condolence flowers»… I said please take out the carnations, add more purple, and take some bulk out. No response. I asked again. No response.
So I decided to call. The woman on the phone, whom I’ve never spoken with, said that she was the one who sent the picture. I asked her to take out the carnations, some bulk, and also to change the vase because the vase she had looked like an urn… she THEN informed me that the flowers had already gone out and they couldn’t change it. She suggested having the man I talked to previously call me back. Um, sorry but that doesn’t help.
THANKS, BUT NOT THANKS. I will never use this florist again. My blood is boiling.

I don’t care what anybody says about over priced flowers for Valentines that just dies, everyone LOVES to be surprised with a beautiful bouquet of flowers delivered to them (on any occasion, not just V-​day). Men, you can thank me later after your lady makes sweet love to you because you followed Lucky’s advice on getting her that bouquet of flowers. Who knows, maybe that love making will lead to a baby and then you’ll be thanking me (or killing me) for that as well. You could play it safe like my bf did and surprise her with a beautiful, yummy ice cream cake, but that’ll back fire on you. Til this day, I still blame the bf for the 5 lbs I gained in 2007 for the Valentines ice cream cake he surprised me with…
I have tried every florist under the sun and nearly all have disappointed me either by charging me for the deluxe size and delivering the standard size hoping I wouldn’t find out or not delivering at all on Valentines Day because they were swamped and couldn’t make it and thinks that delivering it the next day is ok even though I paid an extra $ 8 to have it delivered ON Valentines Day. It’s really a pain in my butt, but I’m willing to go through that pain each year so that my parents have have gorgeous flowers delivered to them because they deserve it. They’ve been through a lot worse raising me so it’s the least I can do.
I went through
to order the flowers and at the end, they either pick the florist who will deliver it or give you the option to pick the nearest florist of your choice. I LOVE this option because they give you a list of florists, you type it into Unilocal to see their ratings and can pick the best one. Of all the ones listed, most had 2 star reviews and only Stanford Floral Design had 5 stars. So I picked Stanford. They are supposed to deliver the flowers on Valentines Day next Tuesday so I will be back to follow up on how the flowers turned out and if they were delivered on time.
