Efficient & friendly staff. Patient-centered care. Clean & quiet environment. Clinic nurse comes in to assess & take your vital signs, give you a gown to change into. They are on point to what you’re there for & they don’t like to keep you waiting. I was seen by Dr. Tsai & she was very friendly & polite. Eye contact was maintained & she really explained what I needed to know about my condition. I came in for my yearly, full physical & since there wasn’t much to discuss further, she sent me down to the lab for routine blood draws. Having a lab department at Hoover was so convenient unlike in the past where I had to drive back to the hospital for blood tests. Had to check in and stand in line for about 5 minutes. There were other patients ahead of me. But once i got checked in, my name got called in less than 2 minutes. It only took another 5 minutes to get my blood drawn & the technician asked me to inspect my name & info for accuracy. That & collecting my own urine in the bathroom for testing. Results were in my online chart within 24 hrs. There is a small pharmacy on the first floor as you walk in & makes it more convenient to pick up prescription. The staff was very professional, communicated very clearly & gave clear directions. Their service is so impressive!

Always a good experience when I come here with my mother. Everyone seems nice and my mother gets to see her doctor in a descent amount of time after checking in. The only thing I’d have to say as a negative is that you now have to pay for parking when before it used to be free

Very good experience. I had a little trouble finding the facility because of the partially completed buildings and the construction, but once I found the correct parking lot, there were several escorts in the drive, the parking garage and on the grounds to help me figure out where I was going. The little bit of confusion is my only reason for minus 1 star. In spite of this minor inconvenience, it was still easy to figure out where to go once I got situated, and it will only get better as the construction completes. The main reception area also has a concierge that is very helpful. I attended the Dermatology Clinic, and found the reception and intake process efficient and professional. This was all very helpful since it was my first visit. The doctors were very personable and helpful as well. I was able to get treatment for a skin growth on the same day of my first visit, so this was also a bonus. In contrast to some doctors, who make you come back for a different appointment because of a different issue, the doctors kept asking if there was anything else I was concerned about. I think this was very welcoming and convenient so that I could cover as many things as possible in a single visit. I feel good about the overall experience and will return. On the way out, there was some confusion with the parking garage exit, so my parking fee had to be waived. I may increase this to 5 stars as time goes on but am being a little conservative with my rating for now.

I’ve been coming here for about a year. Throughout this year, I’ve yet to have a single problem-free experience with Stanford medical center. Every time I need something, whether it’s an appointment or a prescription refill there are always problems. It has been the most unorganized patient care I’ve ever received. I’m going back to kaiser.

Excellent facility! As mentioned by another Unilocaler, the building is old and has a historic feel to it but the inside is newly renovated. Everyone in the building is extremely nice and always opens the door for one another. There’s a new parking garage that you can park at and it’s free for the first hour. I’m usually in and out in less than an hour so I don’t have to worry about paying. I think you can also talk to your doctor or whoever you’re there to see and they can give you a validation card as well.

I’ve been going here for years and then one day I received a notice that they’re undergoing construction. Patients were shifted over to Blake Wilbur by the hospital and we’re finally back! The building itself is really old but they redid everything inside, it looks completely different and brand spankin’ new! Staff is always very friendly. It’s easy to get here, the cross streets are Quarry & Palo. They now offer free 2 hour parking, look at the signs though! Some say 20 minutes while others say 2 hours. I’ve never had an issue with my doctor here, I love her! It’s quick to get a hold of most doctors through MyHealth. Stanford shopping center is right across the street so I pop in there sometimes(; The only thing is that Stanford has ongoing construction all around and it’s a pain to access some roads. There is also ample amounts of traffic so you have to allocate extra time for that. Hopefully when the new hospital is up & running, things will calm down(:
