Support the active life you want away from work, while making work itself more comfortable.
People often find my sessions to be more effective than traditional physical therapy, especially for the neck, back, shoulders. and to develop greater finesse & balance in all movement. Also appropriate for refining your progress after a course of traditional P.T. is complete.
Discover your natural unconscious ability to improve both posture and agility — a skill that is sophisticated — and way more effective than just following a set of rules. Tap into that ability and you can decrease the severity and frequency of pain and move more freely, like a young child.
Please note: I do not bill insurance, but can provide you with an invoice.
History
Established in 1997.
Sweet Agility, a private practice in the Feldenkrais Method of movement education, was created directly after my graduation from a four year Feldenkrais Professional Training Program in Berkeley, CA, with more than 800 hours of instruction.
I take more than 20 hours of continuing education every year to stay current and keep my skills highly refined — usually 50 – 60 hours annually. I am certified by the Feldenkrais Guild of North America.
Prior to Sweet Agility, my background includes many years of dancing, teaching movement and performing. The Feldenkrais Method has helped me minimize my own back pain and stay very active. I can help you too.
Meet the Business Owner
Jean E.
Business Owner
Jean has been teaching movement for many years and is very observant when it comes to noticing patterns that people use casually. This is one of the skills that makes Jean especially effective. If movement is a language, she is fluent. Having a dance background including two degrees, plus professional performance experience contributes to this fluency.
On top of that, she is fully certified in the Feldenkrais Method. Jean can help you take the work out of improving and get great results without relying on willpower and self correction. It’s actually fun!
