History
Established in 2003.
My philosophy is integrative-aiming to heal all the major dimensions of being human: heart, mind, body and soul.
I believe that all of us are born with a passionate aliveness that is uniquely beautiful, joyful, and full of potential – an aliveness that is trusting, connected and open to love. It is the life force shining through a point of light at the core of our being. Unfortunately, through life’s inevitable losses and difficulties this passionate aliveness gets wounded, covered up and shuts down. This shutting down manifests in a variety of symptoms be it anxiety, depression, work or relationship difficulties, or loneliness.
Practically, I hope to address your immediate challenges – providing you with some near-term results and relief from suffering. At the deeper level, our work is to recover your passionate aliveness, to recover your light. Your aliveness can then shine through and express authentically through rewarding work and deeply satisfying interpersonal relationships.

I am a licensed Psychologist in private practice with offices in Palo Alto and Oakland. I also work with clients by phone or skype.
I received my MA and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. I also hold a BS and MS in Engineering and an MBA.
Prior to becoming a Psychologist, I have had a career in the business and technology sectors. In addition to my psychotherapeutic practice, I also work as a leadership coach. These organizational experiences enable me to understand and relate to most work-place settings.
In addition to the privilege and honor of helping others in my work, I am passionate about and experience meaning in my own personal growth and spiritual development, which are founded on love and devotion to the truth and the mystery of life. I derive great joy and satisfaction from my two children and enjoy reading and writing poetry, the arts, movies, dance, mountain biking, yoga, tai chi, meditation, and yummy food.
