I wanted to try out a new place for my hair and this was a hard rating to give, This is the type of salon that you would probably want to go to for bridal shower up dos, not a place to go to all the time. When I walked in, the first thing that I took notice to was that all of the customers except me were 70+ and getting perms. It’s not like I went on a Sunday afternoon either. It’s just one o those salons tat attracts all old ladies instead of it being a young, trendy place. That’s not a reason to not go there though. I was a little skeptical about the workers there not really being quite up to date on the latest hair styles since they work with a lot of curlers on a daily basis. I went in there for a foil highlight and my hair stylist Doreen did a great job on the color. I was very impressed with the turnout. She was very nice and talked a lot during the proceedure trying to warm up to me I guess. This above tactic though is something that makes me a little mad when the end result is to be sneaky. When my hair was finished(dye all washed out) I was ready to head on out very pleased. Thats when Doreen quickly grabbed the blow dryer, started to dry my hair and style it without me saying yes and said that she wanted me to see what my hair looked like when dry cause it wouldn’t take long. Turns out that very forward move cost me almost an extra bucks $ 25(over $ 20). She THEN proceeded to push on the smaller/cheaper hair care products instead of also showing me the same products in bigger amounts as if to make up for the cost of the sneaky dry that she pushed in when all I wanted was a foil. So, all in all, it’s not that they do a bad job at this place. They just find a way to charge you more than what you originally wanted making it overpriced. I’ve been to less expensive salons where the stylists do great jobs and are friendly. Sorry, but for the blowdrying price, not only could I have blowdried my own hair the same way, but I could have bought a new blowdryer. I have had stylists in the past dye my hair and ask me if I wanted an extra style for a cost because sometimes it’s not included(sometimes it is). I like hairstylists who are both good AND honest. I think I’ll stick to them. In the end, this place gets three stars for the good work and friendly staff.

Great place! Service was great and so friendly. Had my bridesmaids & I do our bridal hair & makeup there. They including myself were quite satisfied with the job. Barb, the makeup artist, was such a nice lady and is well experienced. The hair stylists Carolyn and Jen were really great too. Everyone looked beautiful.
