They have the best spicy seafood & thai iced tea. the employees are okay. I don’t really like the location but its way better than the one in NH. They closed at 10pm.

It’s been Long overdue for this review… This place is awesome Not only its affordable The food is soooooo good. The kids love this place .It’s friendly, fast service, it does get full on the weekends, but hey everyone wants some Thai !

This place has the best seafood soup in the valley. I’ve been coming here for years and tried other places but nothing compares. The service is usually on point and fast but a couple times its lacked. The place is clean and the food is good.

Service was fast overall friendly. I have been to several other ocha’s in the past and this one Reminds me of the Ocha on Vermont but it just wasn’t as good. Personally not such a fan of all the dark meat they use, meat was not tender and couldn’t say it was flavorful either but overall as expected but a bit pricey. I’d go back for the soup possibly another time.

I hate this place will never come back even though I live down the street. The service is HORRIBLE it takes forever just to get water or your CHECK. Gave this place a second and third chance but every time was the same a terrible experience.

Why haven’t written a review for this place yet? Long due.
So, I used to live in the area just a block away and my family recommended for me to try this place out.
The food is so good with big portion. Their pad Thai is amazing. Everything else that I had gotten at this place was good except their shrimp salad. Small portion and it didn’t taste all that great.
The service was awesome. They have young servers and they’re very polite and attentive.
The parking is horrible when you go during busy hours. So try to go on a slow day or time.
I definitely recommend this place.

Have eaten here on several occasions and what remains consistent is the GOOD SERVICE, GREAT FOOD… and the hassle getting your vehicle parked, but the hassel is worth it because the food is FANTASTIC. Gotta try Spicy Shrimp Soup, Pad Se Ew, Chicken Curry oh so yummy.

Didn’t really like this place I’ve tried Thai food before and loved it but not here… the chicken was burnt on the skewers … the rice tasted like Mexican rice… the tea had a weird after taste… the only reason why I gave a two star was the sea food soup and it was a fun time other then that I won’t be coming back

Tried it out since I was hungry. Food is good but it’s more chinese style than thai. Service is friendly.
Even though the food is more chinese than thai… the flavoring seemed to be adjusted to cater to other nationalities.
Portions are very big and the price is fair.

You can never go wrong with Ocha if you’re looking for authentic Thai food.
When I crave Thai food, it is because I want spicy seafood soup. I also always order Pad Thai or Pad see ew, those are always good. The chicken pineapple fried rice is so good paired with mint beef. My fave! They also serve beer! Singha beer is the best beer to go with Thai food.
This place is always packed because the food is good! Every Sunday lunch, people are always lined up outside.
Depending how busy they are, the food comes out in a timely manner.

This place is the epitome of small family owned restaurant! The food is great. Prices are cheap.
Things to keep an eye out include there lack of English language skills. It can be a bit frustrating to communicate your order. Yet, the will to provide friendly customer service is visible. Also, don’t be a snob and expect a five star experience in Van Nuys.
For the price and taste, it deserves a four stars. Lastly, the restaurant has an extremely traditional thai food and cultural ambience.
