There will be a second time for me at Pure Zen! Anne was incredible. I tried gel manicures before and didn’t like them because they made my nails look too thick. I talked to Anne about it, and she understood and promised to make them look natural. Well, she did!

I was tempted to give 4 stars-​since they don’t have the dip powder for manicures, but I think 5 stars is still well deserved. This was my first time and to say that it’s relaxing is an understatement. Never have I ever had such a serene pedicure – & I got the basic pedicure! Unfortunately, I will have to find my favorite place for dip powder manis elsewhere but Pure Zen will definitely be my permanent pedicure spot.

Tammy was the one who did my gel nails and she’s very good. Gave me a complimentary bottled water and little bit massage in my shoulder and arm while waiting to try off my nails! Thank you again and I will definitely come back here!

I was visiting in the area and used Unilocal to find this location. They were fabulous and took great care of me and delivered excellent service. I highly recommend for a slower pace, more relaxing experience than most. I think they get struggle sometimes to meet their demand so that might be frustrating if you hope to walk in. If I lived close, I would make appointments.

This is by far the most fabulous nail salon I have EVER been to!!! The atmosphere is very calm. They are family run and truly take care for customer service! And the best part is they really take their time with the massage! You cant have a pedi here in less than an hour because they take such care and effort. I will come back again and again.

I was a repeat customer until my most recent visit when a female tech was extremely disrespectful to my mother and I. I told her I didn’t like how she was treating us and that she was being very rude. She refused to speak English to us yet it was obvious the things she was saying were inappropriate.
I made two previous posts about the experience here but somehow Pure Zen managed to get them both removed. I was even harassed by another employee, Sing, via message here on Unilocal.He did a great job on my toes but after the additional mistreatment I will not be returning here. I’m sure this experience was an exception; however, I doubt I would be treated well if I ever even wanted to go back.

The lady was kind and offered soda and water. The vibe was really calm and relaxing. Only thing was she hurt me with the drill once but was extremely apologetic.

Really love this place been looking for a nice pedicure/​manicure place for a while who actually do a good job but had no luck after reading all reviews abt this place I gave it a try was kind of scared when I pulled into parking lot cuz it’s kind of creepy places but went ahead and I loved it I got Vicky and she paid Soo much attention to my feet. Also got cherry pedicure so relaxing!

This is the absolute best walk-​in mani/​pedi place I’ve ever been to. I was visiting on a work trip (from CA) and had time to kill so I thought I’d stop in. Not only did I get a 30 minute leg/​foot massage, I also received a shoulder massage! The staff is EXTREMELY friendly and welcoming. They make you feel like you’re at a spa. If you have the chance, you must go. You will not be disappointed!

The environment was nice, service, I thought was great. I got the gel nails and within 4 days, my paint started chipping and peeling at the edges. Let’s just say, I didn’t even want to go back to let them fix it, will have to find another place to try.

Went here by myself, no appointment and got right in.
I echo the other reviews regarding cleanliness, the spa-​like ambiance, the non-​chemical aroma and the amazing massages!
I am super ticklish so it’s really hard for the technician to scrub my calloused little feet; however, she gave it a good try. I had to come home and smoothe out a few rough spots, but that’s not a big deal.
The massage part of the pedicure was so amazing, I almost fell asleep! If you go for nothing else, go for this.
I opted for a shellac manicure and as always, it lasted about two and one-​half weeks before the first little chip appeared.
It’s almost time to return and this time, I will take my husband because he would so much enjoy the whole experience.

This is my go to nail salon, but on 6÷26÷15 I went and one of the lady’s said «we’re really busy can you just come back later?» I thought this was rude and unprofessional. Next time suggest making an appointment or tell your faithful customer what the wait time is and ask what they would like to do. I went to Papillon Nails right around the corner and received professional treatment and pretty nails. You guys are usually great, but this rude encounter gave me the opportunity to try a new place and you might have lost a faithful customer.

My favorite nail place in town! I love it! The relaxing scenery on the TV, the relaxing music, they offer you a variety of drinks, very clean place, and most of all they treat you right! Things flow!

Best. Place. Hands. Down. I got the basic pedicure package and the guy took his time and gave me the best foot massage! The atmosphere is so calming and peaceful and everyone talks in a soft voice to help that. I got a shellac manicure and the lady did a wonderful job and even gave me a shoulder massage! Even though I love 30 min away, I will be coming back here every time!

I found Pure Zen on Unilocal and my mother in law and I gave it a try today.
This place is so great! The atmosphere is very serene. There’s not some trashy talk show on or loud music, but a beach scene and spa type music. It’s so calming. We both had the Deluxe Pediicure, with wine!!!
The staff is so welcoming and polite.
I can’t wait to go back! Great place!

I just finished my first pedicure here. It was AMAZING. I’m new to the area, and read these Unilocal reviews and made my way over and boy am I so happy that I did. The young guy that did my toes was so sweet and nice, spoke great English to me about school and my day and was a PERFECTIONIST at his job. Probably one of the best pedis I’ve ever gotten and I won’t be going any where else. I got the regular pure zen for $ 25 and it was amazing and next time I will try one of their specials!
If you don’t have a salon or one that you love, come here!

Pure Zen Nail Spa is the correct name for this wonderful place. I now have been here twice and both times I had the best service of any nail salon I have been to. I go here for the Spa Pedicures and they are the best. Very clean they even put a bag in the foot bowl. You get a timed spa treatment about 45 to 50min for 25 dollars. They do have other packages and prices. You get a tray of goodies that they will use on your feet and lower legs. You also get a free beverage of your choice.
The place is in a little strip mall not real big they have 8 message chairs. And only about 4 nail chairs. They have not been busy on the days that we have gone. This was Sunday. The place does not have the strong finger nail polish smell that a lot of them have. Instead the place has a nice perfume smell of vanilla, lavender, and rose very nice. They play soothing music for the ears and on the TV they have pretty waves on the beach, mountains again soothing to the eyes and very relaxing.
The staff is very professional and they focus on taking care of you. Not like some place that will sit there talking to each other. Or answering the phones or getting up to help other people. Pure Zen Nail Spa gives you complete wonderful care. The staff are very friendly. As you can see every body gives them 5 stars for a reason.
I like this place being a secret but they need customers to stay in business. So the word needs to go out Pure Zen Nail Spa is a top notch spa service. You need to come and try them out your feet will be happy.

I’ve been to several nail places for pedicures but have never had an experience like this one. We were looking for a new place and BOY did we ever find one.
Friendly, relaxing, and professional are just the start of words to describe this place. I’ve had friendly before and pretty much had relaxing before but professional in a nail salon? That I’ve never had before.
When we arrived we were greeted at the door with a very friendly greeting and were promptly offered a drink from water to wine. Well for me that’s a silly question so wine it was. The place was so clean and smelled so fresh not like chemicals you normally get at a nail salon. There also was nice soothing music playing not a blaring TV with the latest soap or sporting event.
We were lead over to the chairs which had plastic liners in the foot bin. I’ve never seen that done before so it made me feel very comfortable about the place being clean.
We were sitting there enjoying the great massage chairs and our wine when the ladies, that were doing our pedicures, walked out with trays with the supplies they would be using. They were so pretty even with flowers on the tray not just some metal cart that no telling how many people it had been rolled up to. This tray was mine and no one else’s.
The nail part: she took great care while working with sharp objects and only giggled a little when I wiggled my foot from being ticklish.
Now for the massage: Man oh man what a massage. They did three different massages and did not rush any of them. They started off with an exfoliating massage then moved into a hot rock massage, then a plain old relaxing massage. Oh man you could not have asked for better. They set a timer so you know you are getting what you are paying for. I heard the timer ding and I stuck out my lower lip signaling my displeasure which made her laugh.
To tell the truth, after the massage I kind of wanted a cigarette. It was that good.
Now for the professional part: These ladies ARE QUIET. All other nail salons we’ve been to the employees NEVER SHUT UP. They are just chatting away with each other and barely paying attention to what they are doing. Many times I’d have to tell them they forgot to do important things. They are not getting up answering the phone or running the cash register they are focused on ME and nothing else.
We had the basic $ 25.00 pedicure which lasted right at 50 minutes. My husband finished first and as he was walking to the cash register (his time to pay) I told him «BIG TIP» which for me is really saying something. When we walked out the first thing out of both of our mouths was «DAMN».
This place is a Spa experience not just a nail salon. Come in and be pampered.

There’s a reason they have a five star rating! A friend of mine and her daughter and I all walked in on Saturday a little after they had opened.
Neither one of us had ever been there before and the only reason that we chose this place was because of the rating they had on Unilocal.We were not disappointed! They were so nice and attentive. On top of everything else they didn’t pressure us to get extra services or anything!
The $ 25 pedicure was more than I had even expected! I got shellac nails and they turned out just as good as when I used to pay $ 50 at another place.
Needless to say I will be driving from Grand Prairie to get my nails done at Pure Zen from now on!
