Went last week and got 2 beautiful dresses and 2 tops for an amount I’m not willing to disclose because then everyone will be flocking towards this store and I won’t get the best picks(shameless selfishness). Staff was friendly and helpful but honestly I still would have left with a smile on my face if they weren’t because the deals were just that good. As an aside, pricing seemed to be a bit skewed. Some dresses for lesser brands cost more than nicer designers– some pieces that were years and years old were overpriced just because they were designer. Check the prices, try everything on(final sale!) and return home with your bag of wares to privately celebrate your personal savings victory.

My girlfriend loves going to consignment shops, it’s a very endearing quality that she has. Even though she is very wealthy, she is very down to earth and never makes a big deal about clothes, food, or anything else rich people can be picky about. She’s the best. Well the woman that run this place seemed, the same way, just natural sweethearts. My girlfriend got some good steals from this place, she bought a suit jacket and pants for 12.50 and then that was half price, 6.25 for an awesome addition to here wardrobe that she can wear to the interviews she is about to have. I guess the 3 is because I’m just sour that this place does not have a men’s section. My girl would give it an easy four.

The Palm Tree is a thrift store run by the Paoli Hospital Auxillary. It’s a great place to find gently used household items and clothing(almost exclusively women’s). They also have an interesting selection of jewelry, watches, and collectable items. The Palm Tree moved locations some years back. Unilocal had the address lested wrong, so if you go, it’s at 21 Plank Ave. in Paoli, PA,(610) 647‑2775, in a small shopping center fronted by a Burger King — near the PA wine and liquor store.
