As an Omaha-​based, family-​owned business, we care about our environment. Which is why we recycle our hangers and have the most environmentally friendly and green dry cleaning machines available. And of course we are in compliance with all municipal, state and federal regulations.

History

Established in 1917.

The same determination and hard work founder, Max I. Walker, had when he opened his first cleaning shop on March 17, 1917, at 2410 Ames Ave in Omaha, Nebraska continues today. Max I. Walker developed an organization where every thought was customer-​centered and remains steadfast in our commitment to our Ready & Right guarantee. The promise has always been to provide top quality service with the job done correctly. Our business began as a carriage trade delivery with the main plant counter serving cash-​and-​carry customers and gradually grew as a professional service, catering to Omaha’s finest citizens.

The 4^th generation of the Walker family continues to maintain their great-grandfather’s vision. The 5^th generation is already involved with the company. This makes Max I. Walker extremely unique, as the fifth generation actively preserves the customer-​centric focus, allowing Max I. Walker to be The Cleaners and Launderers for the 21^st Century, continuing for almost 100 years.
