What a joke. The «manager» JT is an arrogant little clown. He likes to answer your questions with condescending tones, thinking he’s cute. Oh and you better not get the upper hand in an argument with him, he’ll hang up on you after refusing to give you the name of his big boss! If he tells you something needs to be replaced, make sure you get a 2^nd opinion before letting them charge you an arm and leg to fix it. This has happened to me 3 times now, one of the repairs that I supposedly needed was going to cost $ 1,200 to fix and come to find out, it didn’t need to be fixed! The corporate manager Robert is a pompous, arrogant a$$hole. Don’t bother complaining about any of his minions, you’ll get a half-​a$$ «apology» but tell you he doesn’t want to lose your business. Ha! Don’t waste your time or money with this place.

Issues: This Tuffy Auto Service Center (as I do not know if it is company or individually owned) is AWEFUL and lack any service skills. I had taken my car into Tuffy to have my water pump replaced. That was my first mistake. I will explain over a course of seven days what happened to me and is still wrong with my car.
It all started when I took my car in and a few hours later I received a call. The said that they needed to put on a new belt on as the one on there rite now broke. Here is my concern with that. I had a new belt put on about 4 months prior. So how can it «brake» when its not old and cracked. My theory is they just cut it off as to make it easier, but I could be wrong as I was not there. Then they went into detail about how when removing the old water pump a rubber part that helps with vibrations «had» to be broken off to get the replacement done. They started to talk about a bunch of stuff I did not know about. That was the first round… Needless to say I was irritated but let the «professionals» so what they need to do. Including the tune-​up with the wires, spark plugs and all of that.
The next issue is after 3 days I called to check in to see when my car was going to be done as I needed it for work and sharing a commute is not convenient. They continually said we are working on it rite now and it should be done by tonight. Needless again to say it wasn’t. So on the 5^th day they said it was ready. I got there and they swarmed me trying to explain everything. Then a man ran to the car to plug the machine in to check for error codes. They said that they were having issues with the timing of the car so in idle it would run really rough for a few days but the computer should reset. I walked inside and talk to what I believed to be the manager. He said the same, I explained that when I brought my car in all it had was an issue with the water pump and that if this continues will they fix it. The frontX desk guy said «well we might have to take it to Chrysler to get it fix. I then began to as if it would cost more. The front desk worker was beginning to say yes then finally the manager walked out and said no. Then they explained that the machine said that the check engine light has been on for 270 miles and that the check engine light was supposed to be on but was not. Now I don’t know about you but this screamed fishy. So then the manager started to explained that sometime but rare the light can go out and it may need replacing. I explained it should not as I just had it come on a few months age for my crank shaft sensor. I replaced it and it went off a few days later… I paid, was given a standard receipt and no check list of what was up with the car like they are supposed to when they said they did a whatever number check up.
I was in a hurry to get to work so I started my car and drove to work with it shaking. I drove 13 miles to work and 13 back for two days. It shook bad when I stopped and was in idle so bad that I feared my car would blow. So I took it back and told them a list of issues that were happening that did not before I brought it in.
#1 When I got to work the first morning I turned off my car, then turned it over to the point the lights came one and the radio came on and to my dismay LOOK the check engine light did work.
#2 My car still shook as much is not worse than before. They said that the timing belt should be on correctly and that the computer was not rectifying the issue. But they told me when it was in the first initial three days that they had accidentally put the incorrect timing belt on it and had to order a new one. I thought nothing of it until this point when I returned my car.
#3 I told them I kept hearing a clunking sound. They said ok and did not address it from there. I did not take that issue further as I thought they had done a «13 point inspection» or what ever. Turns out that my rear drivers side strut was loose and it a week later the strut completely came out of place and the top bracket that screws into my car SHATTERED. That caused my entire strut assembly to recoil and go into the wheel well and almost destroying my tire. Of course I bought the parts and had a friend replace it. But damage done.
#4 The biggest of issues is some how from day one of taking my car from Tuffy my car squealed every time I turned all of the way to the right or left… at first. This DID NOT do this before I took my car there. They said it was normal wear and tear and they tried to rectify the situation. Not it squeals when first starting and turning and when turned to the right and left. But of course it was not their mistake. «Normal Wear and Tear»
IN THE END I HAVE A CAR THAT IDLES FINE EXCEPT WITH THE AIR IS ON THEN IT ALMOST DIES. AN EMBARRASSING SQUEAL THAT I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO TO WITH AND MORE MONEY SPENT THAN I HAVE. I DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY AT ALL.
