Did not fill my expectations beer wasn’t cold enough, camarones a la diabla were not spicy waiter takes long to come around the table definitely would not go back

Just got out of the restaurant and I’m extremely dissatisfied with the overall service and quality of the food.
First, they lied and said seating would be 45 minutes. Mind you this is father’s day but I figured well they know and he’s the host at the front. A 45 minute wait turned into 2.5 hr wait.
Then 25 minute wait after being seated for drinks.
Staff was unfriendly. They are unhappy and give off attitude.
A/​C doesn’t work. So it really hot. Waitress were sweating.
The food was mediocre. They call diced cucumber and smashed tomatoes with shrimp (no lime juice or salt) ceviche. I paid $ 21 for 3 tostadas for smashed tomatoes and dice cucumber with a couple pcs of shrimped tossed.
AVOID coming here. You will be dissatisfied.
I paid $ 125 for 6 people.

Waitress didn’t acknowledge us as right away. It was like a walk in and grab your menu and have a seat. Horrible costumer service.

The food was great. Our waitress Patti was fast in everything except bringing the bill. Cause she new we were stuffed. Try the tacos uyuy i think thats what they are called. But they are to die for. Just waited on the bill. But it was grest wait.

First time ever going. I love mariscos, and this place was recommend to me. The service is Horrible. The waitress had a really bad attitude for any little extras that we ordered our anytime we would stop her at our table for refills. Food wasn’t all that great either.

Worst place for mariscos! Never going to this dump again. The restroom was a hot mess, trash every where. The food is over priced and the service is terrible. Waste of time and money.

Bought a tray of the ceviche de Cameron here for my best friends birthday. We needed to eat something light before going out drinking so I chose this. It was very good. I ordered over the phone and it was ready when I arrived. Always fresh! Everyone loved it. Even my friend that doesn’t normally eat shrimp had some and enjoyed it.

The only reason they get 2 stars is their service and the atmosphere of the place, horrible service the waitress is all over the place doesn’t really attend to you, really rude waited for drinks forever waited for my plate of tostadas forever while my family had their food already. Totally uncomfortable experience for us all. The food was good totally give them that I enjoyed my shrimp ceviche tostadas with avocado and my husband as well liked his plate although he was already angry at the service I made him enjoy his plate cause now we know at least ha I would get ceviche here again deff take out ONLY my mother in law did not like her fish tacos at all, my kids like their breaded shrimps. I think it was the service and the loudness of the place that through us off

Waitresses have attitudes!

Came to El Perihuete April 2, 2016 like at 8:04pm and as we were ordering our food and letting the waiter know that we want one super michelada and one regular. She got us two super michelada and we told her that we had only order one big one she gave us attitude. I don’t know her name but she has really curly hair in a bun. She told us «you told me two super micheladas and I repeated myself twice» first of all you are getting our orders where the speakers are at and a TV is right beside us, it is very loud in here and you still give attitude.
This is my first time that I get a waitress that is rude.
I’m a regular here with my boyfriend and we never had this type of problem.
Don’t get me wrong food is good.
I will give it another try and if this happens again I will just take my money somewhere else.

Best michiladas and soup served before your food arrives. Everything here is delicious! My favorite is the fajitas mixtas which is bell peppers, onions and all assorted fishes and seafood served with salad and beans! So good! The fish tacos are good too

The waitress was completely rude !. We were waiting for her to take our order and she took forever! And to top it off we seen her just chatting with someone in the kitchen instead of having full attention on costumer needs. We were already done and again the wait to get out check we went to the front and the cashier again was really rude she got upset cause we told her we were paying separate payments! Never again coming back. Make sure you treat your costumers with respect!

One of the Best places to cure a hangover. Pero usual I start with a Michelada, un taco uy uyu y mi tostaduta de ceviche. The soup they give you when you first arrive is a must. This is the place to go.
Their service varies but they’re pretty slow even on empty days.

I just hit this busy spot, but wasn’t particularly impressed. There are plenty of choices and portions are big, but I wasn’t wowed by their quality.
Tacos con pescado, stingray or shrimp: very sizable, but they were all quite boring.
Tostadas con mixed mariscos and with octopus: huge, but not particularly tasty. I didn’t find the ingredients to be well linked and/​or balanced.
There wasn’t nothing terribly wrong with the above dishes, but I didn’t think much of them. They lacked flavor and personal touch.

The ceviche is excellent, but I ordered a plate of grilled shrimp and it wasn’t that good. They used a condiment or maybe is the butter and it overpowers the shrimp. Beans are liquified… Rice average,. At the end… It is not a bad restaurant but is not that great either.
Service is average… I didn’t like my plate, I did mention it to the waitress and is like… Oh well, that’s what u asked for… No customer service at all

I came here on a Sunday afternoon. A group of 4. When we pulled up, we found parking although it looked as if the place was packed. There were people hanging out outside and it looked super crowded inside so we thought we’d be waiting for a bit. To our surprise, as soon as we walked in, we were seated! Lots of people in there having lunch and chit-​chatting. I really like that kinda environment. Very welcoming.
As soon as we got there, we all ordered some modelo micheladas to start with while we decided what we wanted to order. Yum! My friend and I ordered a couple shrimp cocktails, my sister ordered ceviche tostadas, and her girlfriend ordered a shrimp and octopus cocktail.
I couldn’t go wrong with that shrimp cocktail. I’d have to say it was one of the tastiest shrimp cocktails I’ve had up to date. Not that I’ve had many, but I loved it! The food was delicious, and the service was great despite the fact that there were lots of people there.
I would definitely come here again for another one of those cocktails.

First time I get bad service, waitress said they would remake tacos, tacos look burnt, so gross!

Always great food and ambiance.
I just really didnt understand why we couldn’t get the two buckets of beer if we didn’t have enough people. But we understood and enjoyed the rest of the evening.
Food was good. Tried the shrimp tacos and the empapelado. Service was good.
Overall great experience Thank you!
Ps. The woman selling toys always breaks my pocket because every time she passes by our table my son wants something Lol Its ok.

Tacos are ALL good… botana de camaron con pulpo, fresh and cooked to perfection! El «Empapelado» is definitely buttery… come here all the time!

Pretty good seafood and the service is great.
Grabbed some seats at the bar for lunch and was helped out by the manager. Was grabbing a quick dish with shrimp and noticed the sushi menu. I have to say I was impressed with the sushi. Not even most Japanese restaurants manage to provide the great taste the sushi here accomplished. Great mariscos and beers. The sushi is a must try!!!

This place is good, the service is good, when you get one of the good girls, we have gone several times, and we get the one que esta mas menza que nada, pero se la perdonamos cus the food is delish. The wait time is usually 20 – 30 mins if you go on a Sunday (we tend to do that) but its ok, make sure you take a sweater or something because the inside waiting area is somewhat small, and it gets way windy in the part of town! haha. The first thing they serve you is a little cup of juice, calle Taliban, let me tell you that lil sucker is sooooo good, it comes with a solitary lil shrimp n two lil strings of onion, me being the onion hater I am, I always give em to my dad, but the juice/​broth/​whatever is reallllly good, n nice n hot. I always order camarones costa azul, they are the best I have had, the rice n beans are good too, and so is the horchata, oh n they give you tostadas so you can spread some mayo on em, like a true paisa! LOL jk, overall every time I’ve gone its very good!
