Brought my little brother in law didnt know what to ask for since ive never had to bring a guy. Told the guys with the glasses to do a comb over and he did an awesome job! His cut looks so fresh and he took his time in cutting his hair. Only cost $ 16

I have lived in paramount a year and a half. After moving here from Inglewood and having a favorite barber there I was reluctant to try any new barber shop. After my husband encouraged me to take our son to the barber shop around the corner from where we lived I still was hesitant. Raquel cut my son’s hair, & I was quite impressed. With us being African American and the barber shop being primarily Hispanic I wasn’t sure what to expect. But I love it!
With the prices posted there was no surprise as what was to be charged at time of service.

This shop is one of the BEST in PARAMOUNT! ! Tony cuts my boy up just like we like it ! He’s one of a kind !!! Woowoop !!! For mr pimping pimping he’s so cool !!! He’s the man !

I’ve been coming to this spot for at least two years now. I usually get a cut from the two brothers with glasses. And I always get compliments. It just looks so clean and stays clean longer than expected. Only thing is I don’t speak spanish so It’s hard to have a conversation. Other than that this spot is dope.

Tony and Efron (dudes with glasses) are my dudes. I always get compliments on my haircut.

This place is excellent. For the price and the quality, you cannot go wrong. I am very happy and will continue to go back. I like that they use a razor to refine and clean all the edges, as well as the part-​line. It truely feels fresh and you look clean cut. Furthermore, my wife is very happy and likes my cut, too.

Like their customer service and work, very profesional and very clean. No long waits even on weekends

Sports barber shop is the best to get a clean cut you won’t regret! I’ve been going here for awhile and they have great customer service. Hector is my barber and he does anything from a clean taper and fades to sick ass designs! Hit them up all the barbers are great!

Unilocal… should help with the (closed today) info shows that all day everyday, but they sure are here busting these cutz & beard trims at least 6 days a week.

I’ve been coming here for over 7 years. My son loves it cause they make him feel comfortable. I recommend this place all the time to family and friends and they love it. Parking is not a problem

Best barber shop in town and surrounding areas hectors the best!!! All the barbers here are hand picked by the owner they are good and up to date nice tight fades tapers what ever u need done!!!

Parking is not convenient. I recommend the twin brothers barbers. And then the rest of the guys, and finally the lady. I know I’ve gotten a haircut from everyone here. Waiting seats are not comfortable, but when you sit down for a haircut it’s very comfortable. I would’ve given it 5 stars if they had better waiting seats (–1 star) and they would’ve have to told me that’s it’s OK to park in the back (–1 star) there’s parking in front if you’re lucky.

I’m obsessed with trying out new barbers around my neighborhood. It’s the only way to distinguish the good from the bad. This is probably my six or seventh barber shop that I’ve reviewed. Maybe more.
When trying out a new barber shop for the first time. Stop and look to see who clients are waiting for. Do this before committing yourself to a bad barber. Obviously the good ones rarely have no wait. Take note.
On this particular evening, there was only two working barbers. They have approximately eight chairs. They have the old school reupholstered chairs. This automatically earned them one star. You can’t be a good barber shop with new modern chairs. I want to see a lot of chrome and heavy cushioning on the upholstery. I can’t help it. I come from a family of barbers and this is just a must.
The walls here are adorned with various sports memorabilia. Hence the name Sports Barber Shop. I saw a framed Brazil autographed soccer jersey. A framed LA Dodgers Valenzuela jersey. Various NFL football helmets inside of showcases.
The place has a lot of space inside. Too much if you ask me. The client bench seating area was not comfortable at all. This is where they lost a star. The benches need to be upholstered. Badly.
My barber did an excellent job including the use of a straight razor. He also changed the blade before shaving me up. Big indication that this place is sterile and clean. Yes, I’ll be coming back.
