I was in need of a pair of boots today. I went to the hide out looking for a pair of Ariat’s. Greg introduced me to a pair of Abilene’s. The boots exactly what I was looking for and Greg was very helpful. I spent more time with him then I did finding boots. I’d highly recommend this place.

I love this boot shop! Bought my second pair of Ariat’s from here and I love them. I called and spoke with the loveliest lady on the phone and she ordered the boots for me. She called a week later, I went in, tried them on and walked out with new boots on my feet! Fantastic shop and nice people. I’ll be back!

I went there the other day looking for a pair of rare and unusual boots. I found them online but would rather keep my money local. Rocco assisted me and emailed the manufacturer and even though he was unable to get them, he made suggestions of similar styles. Besides his excellent service, their selection and pricing is unparalleled north of Texas. Although they couldn’t assist me this time, rest assured I’ll be back. GREAT store and staff. Highly recommended. See you in December!

Wonderful haven for boots! Despite living in Houston, I swung by with my daughter while visiting up north to get a hat for my sister and left with both a hat and a beautiful pair of boots. There are definitely several options below 300(perhaps this changed since the previous reviewer visited?) Friendly, knowledgable service and a great selection. Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for some real, quality boots!

I wanted a pair of boots I had seen in Nashville — but they were very overpriced in the tourist area. I found them cheaper online and went to Boot Hide Out just to decide on what size to order — and the manager, Rocco, not only gave me a better price than online — but also free shipping to the store! They didn’t have the boots I wanted in-store(though they had many, many others) and he went through the catalog with me until we found them. Courteously called me when the boots came in, and very knowledgeable about how boots should fit.

My college student daughter has wanted western boots for a long time. Today, with Grandma’s birthday gift money in hand we headed for the Boot Hide Out. The store is well stocked with quality brands arranged by sizes. While it is not huge(compared to the stores in Houston and Dallas… duh) there is a very good selection of various styles and brands. There did not seem to be any cheap boots, just good quality. The owner assisted us and took great care to ensure that my daughter had the proper fit. Remember, if you heard about the store on Unilocal or NASH-FM, you get 10% discount! I recommend!

This place is COOL! The Paramus-region shopping metro-glopolis hasn’t had a western boot store for several years, since Globe Boots closed. These guys have LOTS of Lucchese and Dan Post boots. The staff is knowledgable and very helpful. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is they don’t have enough boots at the entry-level and moderate price points. There are TONS of boots on the market in the $ 150-ish range… just not at this store. Not everyone wants to pay $ 300 and up for western boots that they will only wear occasionally. BONUSPOINTS: It smells like a western tack shop, not a shoe store. That, my friends, is a magnificent smell.
