I’ve been at CrossFit The Rack for over 2 years now and I cannot begin to describe how much I’ve learned and progressed as an athlete. I came to CrossFit not knowing much about lifting outside of what I learned running in high school and college as distance runner… In essence I was starting from scratch. Within a year I did my first competition and was happy with my performance. What I am truly thrilled with is the coaching and the atmosphere that CFTR provides. The facility is immaculate and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable. I’ve been to other CrossFits through traveling and this place truly raises the bar(bell) across the board.

Everyone is a critic. There are gyms that look the part that have nothing to contribute. To each their own, if your choices are elsewhere. Dan is a very knowledge coach. I’m glad to have found this gym, and have gained nothing but progress and knowledge from their instruction. The programming is sound, and you can decide if it is what is for you as it is listed on their website, just as many other affiliates do. The facility is perfect and well equipped. Location is ideal. The coaches exhibit their sincere interests in helping people find progress in their fitness, whatever their goals may be. From what I’ve heard of Crossfit, I had different expectations, and find that these coaches do it correctly. Every affiliate is different, and everyone’s needs may follow. For me, Crossfit The Rack serves my ambitions well, as I witness, everyone else who is a part of this family.

Trainers are fat and sloppy looking. Wouldn’t pay a dime to train with anyone who needs to get their act together. Look the part, act the part, and maybe more people would join.

Before coming to «Crossfit The Rack», I was just doing traditional weight training and cardio. I would get to the gym and begin my cardio, while reading on my Kindle. Don’t get me wrong, I read more books than I have ever read, while sweating. I needed to find a way to incorporate both the physical and mental stimulation into my workouts. This is where«The Rack» comes into play. I have been at «The Rack» now for over two years. Since joining, I have become faster, stronger, and do not hate running as much. The owners Dan and Pat are very knowledgeable in the Crossfit realm. The other coaches they employ are wonderful, too. Jody, Dan D., Mike, and Sue are always cheering you on, or helping you in your form. Not only will you get a mental and physical workout at «The Rack», but you will also have a great time doing it. At times, you may say to yourself«what was I thinking,» or «I pay to be treated like this?» But, at the end, you’ll be thankful that you accomplished such a challenging workout. You may go home tired, hungry, and sweaty, but you will a better person for it. You also get to workout with other great people. They will push you, as you are pushing yourself. You are not just joining to make yourself better, but you are also joining a community of people who will become your friends. «Crossfit The Rack» is the place where you will get both the physical and mental stimulation you are looking for in a workout. Come to «The Rack» and see for yourself how much fun exercise can be. After awhile, you will come to the notion you made the right decision. I know I did.

The owners of crossfit the rack are the real deal! These guys know so much about fitness and the human body. They have so much to offer you. If you are thinking of trying a crossfit class, I recommend that you start here where you know you are in professional hands. There are different levels to choose from. You will get all the support you need whether you are training for an event, a sport or just looking to get into great shape!

As of the date of this review, I have been coming to CFTR for about 2 months and could not be happier with my experience. CrossFit is challenging and gratifying, and the environment at CFTR makes it a perfect place to work out. The owners, Dan, Pat, and Justin have created a community that is welcoming of all CrossFit skill levels. Their coaching style is hands on and supportive, which helps a ton when you’re trying to squeeze out 50 or 75 burpees or learn handstand push-ups. The fact that CFTR is located in a Gold’s Gym is a major plus in that, as a CFTR member, you are entitled to use certain of Gold’s facilities, including the showers(a rarity for most CrossFit boxes). This place is nothing short of top rate.
