I am in the waiting room right now asking to be fitted in. I have been here for 1 hour. I am the only patient, Doctor was 20 minutes late from lunch and has been having a really loud phone conversation for the past 40 minutes. I am about to walk out

Have been using this franchise on and off for 20 years. I find that the customer service is good, it’s easy to get an appointment and In all those 20 years I only had to come back once to have my eyeglasses adjusted. You can walk through the door without an appointment at any time and have your glasses adjusted(too loose /too tight /or the lense pops out) I’m pretty rough with the eyewear. They also accommodate you if you prefer a frame they don’t carry. eg. I went to the Brighton Store at Paramus Park, purchased sunglasses there Eye Drx was happy to use my frames for my new prescription glasses. Granted you don’t get to use your insurance at Brighton or anywhere else retail but they were my second pair and would have cost me anyway. They have advertised deals and specials in super coups and at the store, just ask. Over this 20 years I did try other places and was not as happy with the service or hours.

Have been getting my contacts here since 2010. Every year I go they change their Optometrist, so the experience one may receive may vary year to year. This year the Optometrist has been the best I’ve experienced at this establishment. Her knowledge was quite extensive, and she was quite thorough. She was informing me of new Federal laws enacted to ensure our eye health, she tried to find out all my medical history, and found some foul ups in my record from the last Optometrist. She came off abrasive, but when it comes to my healthcare, I like it for someone to give it to me straight and knows what they are talking about. Now, even though the Optometrist was all thumbs up for me, the staff was a bit off. Having scheduled my appointment a few days earlier, I came in, and they did not have me on their docket. Even when coming in for a follow up, they did not have me on their docket a second time. Also, they did not inform me the 2nd time that the wait time would be 2+ hours. They said that the doctor would be with me as soon as she was free. They could have let me know it would take a while so I could run my other errands. I guess it could have been worse. They did not mess up my insurance, and they were pleasant to speak with. This establishment is located on a strip mall on Route 17 South, and has ample parking. If you find yourself waiting for an appointment, there is a pizza shop for your munchy needs. For those into gaming, there is a Gamestop next door. Shopping is hooked up by Gap and Five Below. Those having a long wait, why not fake going down to the Caribbean and opt for a tan at Beach Bum Tanning. Very sweet place to pass the time… if they tell you first.
