LOVETHISSTORE! I prefer the outlet shop as the regular is a bit pricey.

A nice big store with a decent selection of clothes, more similar to the selection that you’d find at the normal store than at most outlet stores. Still, the«deals» are sometimes pretty poor and some of the selection is not up to the quality of the normal store. You may be better off going to the real store and looking for sales.

Labor Day Sale, additional 15% off with student ID, no shipping, no sales tax. What more can you ask for? This past sale had a great variety of items but unfortunately, the sizes were not as plentiful, and the lines for the dressing room and checkout were crazy long less than an hour after opening. As others have noted, and as is apparent, J. Crew Factory items are lower quality than J. Crew items, and sometimes, the in store sales aren’t as good as the online sales. That’s when having my smartphone comes in handy so I, the consumer, have the power. We were only able to track down one person to ask about additional sizes, and she was in charge of the dressing room but was friendly and helpful. Where were the other employees or were there just the two or three behind the registers? Anyway, as of this past Monday, good variety, good stuff, good sales, so I would recommend being strategic about coming during a holiday to score deals. Bonus if you have ID for additional savings.

I am a pretty big J. Crew fan, so I had to check out the outlet since I’m a bargain shopper who always finds great deals at the regular J. Crew sale section. However, before I went to the store, I checked the website for prices. When I got to the store, I was pretty disappointed. The promotions are way better online. For example: An online promotion would display that all shorts are 40% off the ticketed price. In store however, the price is 20% off ticketed price. I’ve still gotten some good deals here, especially with an additional 50% off clearance and 15% off student discount. Crazy steals. For the most part, however, the front half of the store is 20−30% off, which isn’t much compared to the website. Overall, come here if you’re not far(i’m 30 minutes away), but don’t make a voyage here. The website deals are sick and the shipping under $ 100 is only $ 4.95. As for the store, you can find deals every now and then as well as great staff and pretty good customer service. The best time to come is during holiday weekends. 50% off everything in the store with email coupon.

In true J. Crew fashion, this place is still quite expensive, albeit cheaper than the regular J. Crew stores at Riverside and GSP. However, subscribe to their factory store(outlet) email list and you will get notifications of their quarterly(sometimes twice a quarter) 50% the entire store sale. This sale is worth going to. Though, I must warn that it is an absolute zoo, and an hour into the sale the store is already in shambles and I feel for the staff that has to re-fold all the merchandise. People are just animals when it comes to these sales, so come early(and by early, I mean when the doors open). Also, 15% off is you show your student ID. Winning!

Gentlemen, Make your way to the rear of the store upon entry. Don’t even bother looking around in the front sections. Even if items are selling for 40% off retail, you’re still overpaying for those trousers or gingham shirts. The rear of the store is where it’s at because that’s where you’ll find the clearance section. Granted, on three out of four visits you won’t find anything good, but it’s during that fourth visit that you’ll find so many wonderful things. During my last visit, I was able to find a pair of maroon trousers, a plaid button-down, and a checkered button-down for the sweet price of $ 33. Yeah. I know…

Fantastic outlet store. Everything has a sign«extra 30% off,» which reflects the actual price that an outlet charges. It’s like… we know it’s not an ACTUAL sale if it happens everyday idefinitely. However, the prices are somewhat reasonable. The items are like the ones in the normal J. Crew store, but with a slightly worse quality– some noticeably worse and some barely noticeable. For instance, the stitching may be less delicate, the hair clips may have less tortoise shell coloring, and pave crystal bracelet may have a less substantial feel than their prettier twins at Garden State Plaza. Nevertheless, there are tons of other dupes that impressed me.
