I want to warn everyone about Marbles: The Brain Store deceptive return policy. Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience at the store which costed me $ 163. I went Toys“R” US, on October 24, 2015 and bought my husband the Star Wars BB-8 Robot. When I paid the cashier, I told him that I want to open the box and see that everything is good. The cashier never informed that if I open the box, I won’t be able to return it. In fact, he just helped me open it. Later when I checked the receipt, the front of it did not say anything about the refund policy. I purchase a lot from Toys“R“Us store, and have returned many products, even used ones when I was dissatisfied with the product. My didn’t want to keep the robot because it didn’t have a camera. In fact, if I didn’t open it at the store to verify everything was in tact, the package would never have been opened. The next day October 25, 2015 I went back to Toys“R“Us to return it and was I told that its nonrefundable!!! The cashier told me to read the back of the receipt where it says, they will accept unopened items within 90 days. However, one wonders why they woud write the return policy at the back of the receipt and not in the front below the cost, in dark and blold letters. The cashier should have informed me of the store’s open package policy when we opened the package at the store. Why do they mislead and hide important information from costumer?! If I would have known the store’s return policy I have bought it from a different store or online. What’s even more upsetting is that when I went to the management of Toys“R“Us, I was told that it is an external company called«Marbles the Brain Store«and I must follow their policy. I bought it at the Toys“R“Us Time Square store and they cannot do anything.
I am writing this so that you should be aware about this policy when you buy at the The Brain Store.

This store is great. Its a chain, so at most 3 stars from the start, but because its original in idea and execution, added a star. Come here for your brain games. They have all sorts. Some are things from your childhood, that one with two sticks and a ball, Shoot the Moon. Or the labyrinth box. Various other coordination type of things. Then there are the«games». For adults. A version of Othello. Advanced Tic Tac Toe. Solo chess. Much more. There are visual perception tools. Software games. Games for children. Games for adults. Games for both together. This is a fun store with an important product in our ever faster society.

This is a great store. The associates are very helpful, friendly, and know their stuff. I’ve bought two games from here on two different occasions and my family is very pleased with them. I highly recommend them!

This store has the right concept but the toys /games seems ordinary and nothing special. I would come here again but not sure it is attractive enough to open my wallet again.

1) Do you have a friend who is impossible to buy for because(s)he has everything? 2) Are you tired of giving the children in your life yet another Barbie or Hot Wheels car? 3) Do you fly through the Sudoku and the crossword puzzles in your daily paper? 4) Are you a puzzle junkie? 5) Do you(or someone you know) get called Nerd, Geek, or Einstein on a regular basis? If you’ve answered an enthusiastic YES to any of these questions, this is the store for you! Marbles is a new store in Garden State Plaza, and it’s filled to the brim with fun puzzles, challenging brain-teasers, and memory-improving activities. Everything is educational, but definitely not in a boring way. All of the items in this store stimulate your mind in some way, whether by exercising your memory, improving your coordination, or teaching you to «think outside the box.» There’s something for everyone here: from young kids all the way to seniors. I already know a few people in my life who will be getting gifts from this store in the near future. And a lot of the items are out on display, so you can try them out yourself(and learn some tricks from the employees)! You can easily spend an hour in this store. I almost did. But I also answered«yes» to all of those questions, so …
