Special Needs Guitar Teacher Miss Jodi Picarelli teaches guitar students with or without Autism, Aspergers, adhd, Dyslexia, Blindness and other conditions. This service is provided in the comfort of the students home. By appointment only, 7 days a week. SpecStrum Guitar Method is available in North Jersey only. Learn to play guitar and bass, electric or acoustic, 7 string, 5 string, 4 string fretless, Lapsteel guitar, dobro, and even the uke. Lessons are In-Home only. One Hour Lessons. Yelp offer is avilable based on these conditions.
History
Established in 1989.
Founded In 1989 as a retail guitar shop, sales, performing repairs and how to seminars, vocal lessons, guitar and bass lessons. In June of 2011, Miss Jodi changed the business from a storefront to teaching lessons IN Home. This operating structure is suited better for the student to be comfortable as they learn to play guitar in their home. Lessons are taught In-Home Only in the North Jersey area only.
Many students requiring extra attention have learned to play guitar with Miss Jodi, students without or with learning disorders such as Autism, Aspergers, ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia, etc. From boys to girls, from teens to adults, all were taught to enjoy playing guitar at any level and any style of music.

Business Owner
Jodi Picarelli has been a working guitarist and instructor since 1975. She has played full time as a musician, performing rock, blues, country, bluegrass, gospel, R&B, jazz, southern rock as a guitarist and a bass player for hire. Jodi’s experience shines through on every lesson making it earier to teach students with special needs concerns.
Jodi plays guitar and bass, electric and acoustic, 4,5,6,7,12 strings guiars as well as fretless bass. She also plays lapsteel, dobro, resonator, bottleneckand uke, teaching all styles.
Jodi is an active member in The Autism Society of America and Autism Speaks.
