The Eccles Center is the largest theater in Park City, Utah with 1,269 seats. It is home to Park City Institute’s Main Stage Season from October through April each year, presenting a broad range of world-class performing arts from international dance companies to Broadway icons to beloved author/humorists to virtuosos in a host of musical styles from Celtic to rock’n’roll.

Park City Institute also hosts TEDxParkCity events, V-Day gatherings and the «Future in Review» Speaker Series at the Eccles Center.

The facility itself is a joint-use performing arts center that is part of Park City High School as well as the anchor facility for the Sundance Film Festival every January.

Most performances at The Eccles Center begin at 7:30 p.m. During the Main Stage season, the Eccles Center box office is open daily 10am to 5pm, opening at noon on show days. There are no scheduled performances or box office hours during summer months when Park City Institute is staging performances outdoors on the hillside at Deer Valley Resort. See St. Regis Big Stars Bright Nights Concerts for schedule at: bigstarsbrightnightsconcerts (dot) org

Park City Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to Entertaining, Educating and Illuminating Park City since 1998.

History

Established in 1998.

Since 1998 when The Eccles Center opened, we have been proud partners with the Park City School District. From student outreach opportunities to serving as the anchor facility of the Sundance Film Festival, we have worked together to make certain this amazing building was fully and fairly utilized. We have welcomed performers from the world over and the finest Utah performers. Our after-school technical theater program has served as a lifeline for students who may never appear in front of the curtain, to learn how all things work back of house. We are honored to have been partners in the citywide evening, Save Our Snow, addressing global climate issues.
