Newpark Resort & Hotel

We got the luxury suite. Very big suite. Includes washer, dryer, kitchen, hot tub on balcony, and fireplace. Personnel at front desk were very helpful and polite. The place is in very close walking distance to local restaurants and grocery store. Within a couple miles from the Tanger Outlet and Olympic Park.
Highly recommend staying here.

We stayed at the Newpark for our wedding weekend, as did many of our guests. Our stay here was absolutely perfect! We got the Luxury Suite (at a very good price, I’m assuming because it’s «off season») and it was gorgeous. It easily fit myself and my wedding party as we got ready for the wedding. We had a hot tub on the balcony which was perfect.
All of the staff we met were very friendly, helpful, and personable.
The location is also perfect. All of our out-​of-​town guests stayed here and it is the perfect location for visitors as everything you could ever need is within walking distance.
This was honestly the best hotel experience I have ever had. My husband and I have already discussed coming back here for our wedding anniversary next year.

Incredible! My family and I booked a luxury suite for a very reasonable price. The view from our room was AMAZING! There was a private Jacuzzie on the balcony. The resort is right next to Olympic Park. We rode on an actual bobsled, zip lined, and had a blast on the Alpine slide. This resort knows customer service. Every detail was considered. Utah is gorgeous!

The luxury suite with private hot tub on balcony was amazing. Room was very nice, with a great soaking tub and roomy shower. The staff was very friendly. I really liked the neighboring restaurants and shops. Lots of places to walk to for dinner or drinks. Looks like a new, developing area.
I stayed here Friday night and booked the Marriott Mountainside for Saturday night. Wished I would have stayed at Newpark for both nights.
I will definitely come back here.

Stayed on a townhome managed by Newpark and adjacent to the hotel. Sleeps six easily, hot tub on deck and wonderful views in a LEEDS certified mixed use community. Saw an elk out our back window.

Great place. It feels like home with the resort amenities. Cozy feel and cost was great! It’s just a few minutes from downtown and you’ve GOT to get a suite! There’s a hot tub on the balcony! Plus the views are unbelievable.

We stayed here for our recent ski trip and overall, the experience was great. I wish I could give 5 stars for service and 4 stars for accomodations, only because the basic guest rooms are very small, and the walls are extremely thin. No fault of the hotel and staff however, obviously a fail on the developer’s side. In any case, I would stay here again as it was very clean, with great service from the staff and an excellent location.

This is my second time staying here and I have been very pleased both times. We always get a room with a private jacuzi, after a long day on the slopes it can’t be beat! The separate bath tub and walk in shower is an added bonus. The staff were all very nice and helpful and there is a free shuttle stop into downtown park city right outside the door. Very reasonably priced as well.

Best bang for your buck. This is a lovely, contemporary hotel property that is in the Kimball Junction area of Park City which means you do not have a ski in/​ski out property near the Historic District of Park City. Instead you have a great property with amenities one might expect at a higher end property. Close access to good shopping and good restaurant choices are within walking distance. The free Park City bus service to the resorts and historic district is right out the front door. You’re very close to the Utah Olympic Park.

This is a nice hotel. If I were staying here for a ski trip, this hotel and the room we had would have been ideal. The rooms are spacious and accommodating. It is the type of room that you can spend some time in without feeling the need to leave. The hot tub on the balcony was a very nice perk. I was also able to use the full length lap pool. I loved it! The problem with this hotel is that they don’t have any room service. You have to order from a local place and have it delivered by them. This place is more of a do it yourself place. Not really your pampering type of hotel. Overall, I’m satisfied with my stay.

This is easily one of my favorite hotels to stay in. We decided to come up to Park City for a weekend getaway. While looking for hotels we noticed that Newpark had hot tubs on the balconies. That was too good to pass up.
With 4 people staying 1 night and 6 staying the 2^nd night, we felt that the 2 bed luxury suite gave us all plenty of room. The beds were huge, the hot tub was perfect (get a higher floor room if you can though, the views from the 2^nd floor we were on weren’t great), the location was great as well. The rooms were clean, a large fridge, oven/​microwave, and dish washer were all included in the room. The fireplace was a nice touch as well, especially for the cold mornings. There are tons of dishes and pots and pans for you to use if you would like.
The location was awesome. We ate at the Kneaders right under our room for both breakfasts. We had dinner at Maxwells which was also under the hotel. Plenty of restaurants and shops are near by and Main Street is a couple minutes away as well. We actually spent most of our time at the hotel and the places around the hotel rather than the main part of Park City. There is certainly a lot to do here, with more coming on the way.
A couple things on the rooms… the main bathroom has a GIANT bath tub. I decided to make a giant bubble bath in it, which involved throwing in an entire thing of bubble bath that I picked up. That’s the plus of the bathroom. The weird thing is the GIANT (probably 2 feet by 8 feet) window in the living room/​kitchen that looks down into the bathroom. I have no idea why a window here exists; we guessed for natural light. It’s weird though. If you stand on the couch you can look directly into the bathroom and whatever is going on in there. It made for some good laughs, but yeah it was weird. I felt I could never fully feel comfortable in that bathroom and ended up just taking my bubble bath in my swim suit with the door open.
We noticed a promotion for the weekend we were staying that allowed us to get a 2 bed luxury suite that sleeps 8 for ~$ 400 for 2 nights. Not $ 400 a night, $ 400 altogether. A great price for an awesome room an an awesome location. It was perfect for a weekend getaway and we plan on going back.

The room inside is wonderful, they prepare a lot of glass cups and plates for guests to use. Very new and clean room. I love this hotel. One star I didn’t give is bcuz we can hear neighbors sound or conversation very clear, cuz we have the same door in living room.

I have stayed in Park City many times, and always love coming to Newpark. It’s great for families and for couples seeking a private getaway. There’s a heated indoor and outdoor pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and private jacuzzi on your own balcony. It’s right in the center of many restaurants, a movie theater and shopping, so after a long day of skiing or hiking (depending on the season) you can just come «home» and do what you want in the evening. There’s a Park City bus stop right outside the hotel, so you can just hop on that and never even need to deal with parking. The beds are extremely comfortable, and having a miniature kitchen in the rooms makes cooking a quick meal or snack a breeze.

Stayed out in Park City because there were no rooms to be had in SLC (during a busy trade show).
I wasn’t sure what to expect and initially wasn’t thrilled about the drive from PC to SLC. However, upon seeing the location and hotel, I was happy to be away from SLC and all the craziness that goes on with this particular trade show.
Had a single room… which looked like a mini-​log cabin. I was disappointed that my view was only of the rooms across the way but was happy that I could open the window for fresh air.
Pros: best hotel bed I’ve ever slept on. Loved the location — easy to walk to shopping/​food. Great wi-​fi. HUGE tub. In room fireplace that you can turn on whenever you want. Quiet. Beautiful location. Had a fridge and separate sink area with plates/​dishes/​coffee maker.
Cons: bed and tub were a tad hard to get into for a person with short legs. :) Got a decent bruise on my leg trying to maneuver the shower but that’s a fault of genetics, not the hotel.
Would stay here again over the convenience of being in SLC.

I expected too much. The high Tripadvisor,
, and Expedia ratings led me to believe that Newpark was going to be amazing and it fell short of those expectations.
Check-​in: We arrived around noon and asked if it was possible to check in early. Nope, we were told that they would call if any rooms were available before 4pm. I called back around 3pm and was told that there were still no rooms. It’s hard for me to believe that NOTHING was available until exactly 4pm. When we did return at 4pm, the room was ready and we were tired.
Room: Wow, talk about a weird room setup. I get it — the Deluxe Room (1 queen+sofabed) is meant to connect with the Luxury Suite (1 bedroom suite with king bed and sofabed). What ended up happening is that the Deluxe Room is anything but deluxe. The room is one of the smallest hotel rooms I’ve ever been in. The bed is super high and hard to get into because the only storage in the whole room is under the bed. The closet is in the bathroom and the closet door cannot be opened at the same time as the bathroom door. And there is only 1 tiny window and you can’t even pull up the blinds because you’d be staring into someone else’s tiny room if you did.

Stayed here this weekend for a bevy of events in the Park City area. The hotel located close to many shops and easy access to the interstate. The staff is super helpful. The rooms are clean and quite nice… though a bit small. Although the bathroom with the oversized tub is amazing. The door to the bathroom and the door to the closet to the closet in the bathroom are not well planned /​designed. No view in room 316B but I was not here for the view. Overall, very nice hotel.

We have stayed here every year for the past 5 years and will continue to stay here for the years to come! Absolutely wonderful hotel! It is always very clean and the staff is great! It is so nice to have your own private hot tub to relax in after a long day! They have great restaurants right underneath the hotel and are located in a perfect area! It is nice to be in walking distance of bowling, shopping and a movie theater! Definitely a perfect place to enjoy a nice vacation with kids or kid free!

This place is the perfect weekend getaway for families. Enjoy your very own jacuzzi on your deck.

We stayed here for our anniversary and we were blown away by the luxury suite. Plenty of room to sleep 4, hot tub on the balcony, large sunk in tub, walkin shower, full kitchen, fireplace and the beds are so comfortable you literally could sleep all day.
Great view of the Wasatch mountains, walking distance to great restaurant, cafes and shopping center.
We’ll definitely be back and next time were bringing the kids.

Wow! What a great hotel. Quiet, clean and rooms filled with careful touches and detailing, such as heated floors, lodge-​y accents on doors and cabinets and a fireplace with a timer. This was such a great home away from home after a day on the slopes or out in the snow. No smoking, so comfortable, I couldn’t recommend this hotel more.
