Dr. Chiu first treated me when I was passing through Chicago on personal business.
My job requires that I remain sedentary with my arms floating over a keyboard for 10+ hrs a day. I go to the gym and work out regularly to combat the daily muscular atrophy. The result? Constant tension and knots in my upper back to the point of utter discomfort and restlessness. It got so bad I decided to get it looked at as soon as possible.
Seeing the bind I was in, Dr. Chiu treated me and alleviated all the stress that had been building up. I really can’t begin to express what it feels like to suddenly feel so physically liberated.

One month later and I find out that not only should I have only been charged a co-​pay (which they refused to let me do at my appt, I confirmed this with my insurance carrier), they never submitted my claim to insurance like they said they would. (Rob promised to «personally» take care of it and put a reminder note for himself up so he wouldn’t forget to look into it, since I was concerned I was being pretty much rippped-​off.) It took numerous calls to their office to even get a reply. onmce they FINALLY called back I was told they’d refunded a credit card… the WRONG CARD. Instead of being apologetic Rob was very rude and said I could «just talk to the Dr if I REALLY wanted to». Sorry– take care of my billing. I have NO need to talk to a Dr about your inability to process a refund correctly.
Still, not one apology. I was treated more and more rudely on each communication (of which there were few) and talked to like I wasn’t worth their time.
