Precious Paws Park Ridge

I have been bringing my boys here since they were puppies. The staff here is wonderful! My dogs always come out looking and smelling there very best. The price is right and the grooms are always done on time! Highly recommend this place!

The purpose of my review, mr. Samir, was, as I explained in our private messages, to let other dog owners know of my experience so that they may make and informed decision when choosing where to groom their dogs.
AS I said, I do not think it is neither necessary nor appropriate to share MY VETS PRIVATE information. I feel it was a good decision to consulted a vet that you know, to gain a better understanding of dog ear infections.
SIMILARLY, I do not think it is necessary to give you my private information seeing as how I am not interested in bringing my dog back to your establishment. I answered all of the questions you had about the details of my dissatisfaction. This should supply more than enough information to adjust your practice. You can’t have more than a hand full of groomers – and AS I SAID in our conversation– I believe it would be a good idea to make certain that all of your groomers are on the same page in terms of understanding adjustments and all expectations.

I would like to change my review to 4 stars. My dog was ready at noon when I
requested. He did experience discomfort but needed to have his ears groomed
per vet due to ear infections. Benny is much more comfortable now and gets
many conpliments on his «schnauzer» hair cut. Thank you Samir.

Samir, the owner, was kind enough to reach out to me and apologize for the service I received. He informed me that the last groomer that we used was no longer with the company, and he even refunded my payment. For that reason, I changed my review from 2-​stars to 3-​stars. The next time I find myself in need of a groomer, I’ll give Precious Paws another chance, and I’ll be sure to update with my experience!

We love Precious Paws and the way the treat our dog, Molly. We have been taking our dog here for over three years after hearing great things from our friends and family. There is nothing worse than feeling uneasy about leaving your pet at a place you don’t fully trust. Here, we know she is well taken care of. We moved to the city two years ago and continue to drive 45 min each way to continue to have her be groomed art Precious Paws, that is how much we trust and enjoy them! Staff is also super friendly!

I have been bringing my dog here for 4 years. They are AWESOME! They never fail us. Yogi looks great after each cut. Tried another place in Park Ridge but came back to Precious Paws. You have to call ahead as they get booked really quickly. They are super nice and Yogi loves them.

We were devoted customers for years. Unfortunately, this shop has changed hands and the service level has definitely decreased. Our docile pooch was labeled as viscous… can’t help but wonder if it wasn’t his reaction to how he was being treated. Heartbreaking to lose what was a great spot for over 10 years.

I love this place because they are so good to the animals. They are always with them. I have been to other groomers who left dogs leashed on the table to go answer the phone. My dog jumped off and flipped the table, but she is 80 lbs. Other small dogs could have been hung by the neck! My dog does not balk at the door when she gets to Precious Paws. She prances out feeling glorious. They don’t always follow your grooming instructions to the letter, but even when she is shaved, her fur all grows back, so I don’t mind. Never a knick or cut.
