We also specialize in painting Historical homes, different techniques and textures, by request and by not any additional charge. We work hand-​in-​hand with a team of interior designers to bring you a well-​rounded approach. This May, we hired Red Sky Painting to sand and re-​stain our solid wood front door. We are very happy with the result… the front door looks beautiful again. From the time Dominic came out to give us the estimate to the time the painter finished the project, it was nothing but professional. Communication was good, they arrived when they said they would be there, and the work was meticulous.
We would definitely recommend Red Sky Painting, and we will use them again.

I recently used Red Sky to stain my roof top deck. The deck turned out great! Dominic was extremely helpful and accommodating to my many requests for the project. I was quite particular about which stain products I wanted to be used as well and Dominic discussed his experience about using each one. You can tell that he is quite experienced and is really concerned about doing the job right. Red Sky was able to fit me in and despite the rainy Chicago weather, took advantage of any dry day to finish the project quickly. The painters were very friendly and helpful! I plan on using Red Sky again later this year for another project at my building. Highly recommend!

I just used Red Sky Painting and they were great! A horrible pink and purple bedroom is now a beautiful cream color. They also painted my front porch and sealed my back deck. They did a wonderful job for a very fair price. The owner, Dominic, kept in touch with me at all times. You can also trust them to be in and around your house when you are not home. I would use them anytime and I have already recommended them to a family member.

Red Sky has done several paint jobs for me and they have all turned out fabulous! I have been indecisive about what colors to use but Dominik is always very patient with my last minute color decisions. Dominik is professional and reasonable with his quotes. I’ve sincerely enjoyed working with Dominik and Red Sky Painting. Everything from the quote to the planning, to completion of the job was done promptly and professionally. Best part, the paint looks awesome!
I was nervous since no one would be home to watch the work get done. Dominik and team calmed all my fears. Not only were they patient, given that I told told them the wrong time and made them wait, but they were incredibly clean, put back all the furniture they needed to move, and left things exactly as they were.
I would and will use Dominik and Red Sky Painting for all my painting needs in the future.

As a landlord/​property owner, business owner, and a homeowner, I can honestly say, Dominic is my «go-​to» painter for all my painting work. I have used his services a total of five times so far, in the last two years. He painted three of my apartments, which included drywall repair work. When my business office was badly water damaged by a water leak from the unit above, Dominic’s team expertly replaced all the damaged drywall and restored the office perfectly. I also hired Red Sky to paint all the ironwork around my home which included wrought iron fences, an iron canopy, numerous railings on two floors, and a badly rusted steel deck. He did it right by using a rust preventative primer before painting. There were no paint drips on my sidewalks, walls, or wood deck at all.
His team is careful, efficient, and thorough. They make sure the non-​painted areas (floors, furniture, cabinets, etc.) are well protected while they paint. They also do a great job of cleaning-​up after each job. Aside from the perfect paint job, it looks like they’re never there.
His prices are very reasonable and he personally comes out to estimate the work to be done. He’s a great guy with an likable personality. I will continue to use Red Sky for all my painting needs.

Dominic was extremely professional and easy to work with. I called his company to power wash and re-​stain our deck. He was on time when coming by to give us an estimate and was punctual during the course of the project. The work done by his crew was efficient and meticulous. They were able to get the entire project done in 2 days.
I would def recommend Dominic for any deck or paining project!

I hired Red Sky over 3 years ago to repaint and stain my 4 story iron stairway and decks. They were twice the price of another quote, but I appreciated Dominick’s quick response, his portfolio was extensive and his warranty couldn’t be beat! Warranties are only as good as the company that stands by them. From rough winters and ice damns on my stairway (a gutter issue I’ve had fixed, but still overflows), the great job Red Sky did has taken a beating! Some rust and chipped landings appeared, I called Dominic. Without question, he sent his guys out to repaint the entire stairway, free of charge, as per his warranty!!! I could not be happier with my decision to hire Red Sky! Well worth the money spent!

Dominik came out and looked at the 2 decks that desperately needed to be re-​stained/​sealed. He called the day I requested a quote unlike the other companies who waited for 2 or 3 days to contact me. I had already done extensive research on various companies and I found Red Sky to be competitively priced and very responsive. The work was done very well and within a week (would have been sooner but due to weather we had to wait) I have two decks that look like new! I’m a very happy customer and I highly recommend Red Sky Painting!

Honestly. Avoid these guys. Worst Job ever and when they «honor «their warranty they ALWAYS had an excuse. The inexperienced unsupervised sander they used on our back staircase sanded no less than 5 holes through the metal. We ended up having to replace 5 landing due to this. It was such a constant head ache dealing with Dominik and his excuses (after he was paid obviously).

Red Sky has completed two exterior paint jobs and one interior paint job for me. In all three cases I had an excellent experience. Dominick — the owner — is very responsive and actively initiates communication as to progress. I know that seems like a simple thing but I have dealt with dozens of contractors in the past and in my experience most of them do not keep the customer up to speed. Dominick sends pictures after every milestone so you can see progress… a nice touch.
On my most recent experience they worked on the weekend to get the job done. Their prices are competitive, their work is good, and they complete the job on time. What more can you ask?
