Good location for this store. It is never that crowded and they have a constant stock on all their items. Trader Joe’s always has the best employees ready to help you. Plus the great selection of wine!

I go to «Trader Joe’s» occasionally to pick up a few items. Usually I cook things from scratch, but there are those days when you just don’t feel like cooking. Trader Joes is great for that because they have many prepared meals that you just pop into a frying pan or a microwave and ta da instant meal. Some of the prepackaged foods are pretty good(certainly not gourmet food, but decent and make for a quick simple meal without breaking the bank. They also carry their inexpensive wine Charles Schwab for $ 2.99(It use to be $ 2 for the bottle($ 2 buck Chuck) I’m not a huge wine drinker, but I think it’s a pretty decent bottle for $ 2.99/bottle Trader Joe’s is also known for carrying their own line of items that can only be purchased @ their store. I especially like Trader Joe’s around the holidays for their truffles.

It’s great to have a Trader Joe’s within a short distance of home. Unfortunately, like every other Trader Joe’s ever built – except for Evanston – the parking lot is cramped, crowded, and crabby-making. Why do they never learn? Do yourself, your blood pressure, and your car bumpers a favor and stay away on weekend afternoons. Or you can park on Northwest Highway, where there are always street spots, but then you have to walk all the way around the opposite side of the building to enter.(It’s still probably worth it to avoid the parking lot, even though you might encounter a bizarre sidewalk obstacle such as a TJ’s employee tending a wildly flaming charcoal grill… then going back inside and leaving it UNattended.) The giant«Trader Joe’s» sign duped me the first time; I thought that the entrance was on Northwest Highway. But it’s not! PSYCH! One other thing – customer service is a notch below TJ’s standard of ebullience. Not nasty, just not great. Sort of flat. But then there was one time in particular that my checker never spoke to me or looked at me, but spent the entire transaction carrying on a conversation with a coworker about illegal movie downloads. Not a great face for the organization. Still, it’s worth it for half-salt roasted almonds, pomodoro pasta sauce, and chocolate cat’s cookies.

There frozen meat product I ate made me sick with stomach pain. The breaded beef and spicy brocoli. Some not all pieces of meat tasted gamey so was not sure if it was mushrooms or something. I called and talk to them they don’t list ingredients on all there products I was told. Yuk

I love this place! Customer services are excellent. This store has a small town grocery store vibe. Fruits & veg. selection is pretty good. I have to stay away from the snacks because they are so good.

I love going to Trader Joe’s! My parents has history of cancer & both are diabetic. I had been coming here for 2 years now since my family opted for the healthy lifestyle. They have the best Marinara Sauce which costs only $ 1.99! I also get their free range chicken stock — $ 1.99 Also like their Olive Oil which costs less than the regular supermarket pricing! See, you can get healthy stuff for less. You don’t have to go to Whole Foods which by the way is just a block away from TJs! Plus the staff are very friendly and helps you with your groceries, not like the snotty people at WF!

5⁄5 for the flower selection here. I’ve purchased and/or received flower bouquets from TJ’s that have lasted weeks at a time. For the price, you really can’t go wrong. Check-out the holiday themed bouquets. They’re beautiful!

Trader Joe’s is definitely one of my favorite grocery stores. I usually shop at the location in park ridge and everyone there is super nice and understanding. I also love the monthly newsletters Trader Joe’s takes the time to put together and have details about their products.

I love this store for the assortment of produce, prices and friendly staff. Freezer meals and organic pizzas are the best here! They taste like real home-made food when heated, and are perfect for lunch food in the office.

I have a gross love from Trader Joe’s. This is the closest location to my hometown and they are guaranteed friendly and helpful. I love that TJ’s carries their own unique products. My favorites include: the Speculoos Cookie Butter, Multigrain blend with veggies, 9 grain sprouted wheat bread, fruit & nut granola, their huge variety of hummus and dips AND they beautiful selection of affordable fresh flowers. Seasonally products are always intriguing and I never hesitate when trying something new cos almost everything I’ve ever tried first hand was a hit for me! Trader Joe’s forever has my heart and I only wish they had one in DeKalb too…

This review is being done on behalf of my technology-trying mother… She went into TJ’s on Sunday, 4⁄19 to return some dog biscuits she recently bought. We unfortunately had to put our beloved family dog down a week ago. Not only did TJ’s refund my mother the full amount WITHOUT the receipt, but the manager who did the transaction gave my mother a bouquet of flowers, expressing his sympathy for my mom’s loss. Amazing. There are truly some amazing people in this world. Thanks, TJ’s!!! :-)

Their parking lot in downtown Park Ridge is a death-trap course of baby strollers, agressively driving commuters, can’t-drive foreigners/elderly and shopping carts. SHOULD you make it into this Trader Joes alive — their staff is as friendly and useful as you could hope for. Produce is always fresh, although they have been running out of things more frequently with the spastic weather. The wine guy here has given me a few great recommendations.

Worst service TJ’s ever. They ran out and forgot to order a product and Kevin acts like he is bending over backwards to give me reasonable customer service. Plus no smiles and an unfriendly attitude. I guess the Chicago market is not familiar with the excellent service that marks TJs at other locations and especially in CA. This location fails. Won’t be back.

I have such a soft spot for TJ’s I secretly hope they do NOT open a store near me as I selfishly want to keep this a secret. Full disclosure, when I was a kid I used to clean TJ’s floors in the middle of the night in San Diego. I think extended hours of exposure to their products and culture tainted me forever! This place makes buying groceries fun. Dead cheap, non posh, good quality, all make for a winning combination. I love their coffee, cheese, wine, craft beer & spirits, and snacks to an alarming degree. Trader Joe, ring the bell! Approved!

Everyone loves TJs. That is a given. As per this actual location: pretty great! Parking is a little annoying: some days the lot will be full and they need more cart corrals. However, staff is super awesome. Always smiling and handing my daughter stickers when we pay. I like that the store isn’t super cramped either. My little girl loves the mini carts too! P.S Buy the taco seasoning — it’s the best!

The TJ’s here struck a note of awe and wonder for me. The awe came because it had a substantial parking lot. Being my first time at this location, I parked around the corner and braved my way through the snow and ice. That was not necessary! Park in the lot, folks! The wonder came because the store was full of busy patrons getting on their uniqueness as one only can at a Trader Joe’s! It was groovy and it worked for me!
