Wild Iris Salon Experience

Hilary is great! She a wonderful person and really know how to cut hair. I had her cut my hair when it was 16″ long and did a beautiful cut. I had her cut all my hair off to a short bob and it was a perfect cut. It’s especially difficult to find someone who does a good job cutting short hair. I’m very particular and she’s done a perfect job. She’s colored my hair twice and both times it come out perfect with no spotting.

I stumbled into this salon by accident and had the pleasure of getting a killer blowout by Brittney. She slayed my hair and she made a loyal client.

For our first haircuts in Colorado we really lucked out! Me and my husband discovered this salon while doing the Parker Wine Walks. This place really stuck out to him most for the cool overall appearance and the friendly girls pouring the wine. I was desperately in need of a change after wearing my hair the same way for the past 3 or 4 years and was treating my daughter (almost 13) to a fancy keratin express and a trim for an outstanding report card (proud mom). My daughter is biracial and has very curly hair that she prefers to wear straight. We’re not ready for harsh chemicals or anything permanent yet, so this treatment was perfect for her and should help with frizz up to 4 weeks. Kim worked on my daughter and was fabulous. I honestly expected to be there for at least 3 hours to straighten my daughters hair. But somehow she managed to do it in about an hour and half! Trim and all, no short cuts. It looks and feels amazing. She is a pro! Although my preteen can be very expressionless, she was beyond pleased when we got home from the amount of selfies taken. My hair stylist was Michelle and she was awesome! She made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. She was funny and very professional in the way she discussed every aspect of my cut to make sure I got exactly what I asked for/​wanted. My layers are beautiful and I’m loving my new bangs. Overall a great experience and I will be back for sure!

I just moved to CO and found Wild Iris Salon via Unilocal.Kim McGowan did a fantastic job with my hair — partial highlights and a cut. I have definitely found my new hair stylist!

Kim M is my new favorite stylist! Since moving to Colorado a few years ago I have jumped from stylist to stylist trying to find some who is knowledgable, up to date on current trends but classily trained, has a good personality and is well priced and Kim fits exactly that! She was fun to talk to and very helpful when it came to figuring out what look I wanted. I love my cut and cannot wait to meet her again for my next look!

Kim cordova is awesome. She has been doing my hair for over a year and does my kids now too. Well never go anywhere else!

I have lived in CO for almost 3 years and have yet to find a stylist that will LISTEN to me. I found Wild Iris here on Unilocal and decided to make an appointment with Hillary. I could’t be any happier. She did exactly what I wanted and made my hair look/​feel so much healthier. The salon is adorable and clean. The price was fantastic as well. I highly recommend Wild Iris!!!

I found this place during the Parker Wine Walk. I’m splitting the difference on the stars. As the salon itself gets 2 stars but Susie Mayes gets 4 stars. Fabulous brow wax by the way with a very reasonable price.
You would think being a first time customer that the person at the front desk might be a very happy to see me but it was the opposite. I walked it and it seemed as that I was somewhat of a bother. I told her I was there for an appointment and she said she would let Susie know that I was there. She preceded to sit and chat and then Susie walked by and they talked for 3 to 4 minutes and then she said «Oh yeah your appointment is here».
Susie did a get job and the location is very convenient with parking right outside the door. The inside is very hip and they have a ton of cute jewelry for reasonable prices. Since I don’t plan on spending time with the upfront person and I’m there for a purpose it might be something that I can overlook.

I have enjoyed going to this salon for about 9 months now (or the equivalent of 3 haircuts). While my first haircut was with someone who didn’t understand my needs, I moved on to a different stylist who is better skilled.
The salon itself is in a great location — downtown Parker just off Main street and what I especially like is that some stylists work evening hours, or on Sundays/​Mondays (days when salons are typically closed). I’ve always been able to see my stylist within 2 weeks of calling (meaning she is never so busy I have to book her several months out). They have convenient, free parking and the prices are reasonable.
I’ve never been during busy Saturday hours, so I couldn’t tell you if its a mad house or not. Overall, its a nice salon. I have a hard time switching stylists, but am forced to based off of frequent moves, so finding a great salon and stylist whom I can trust is a good thing!
