Excellent food. Me and my husband were in the area and just decided to get food to go. I didn’t really read the reviews or anything but since we are both vegetarians, I ordered a vegetarian Biryani, Palak Paneer and a naan. The food was absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh (we ordered it at 10:15pm) and ready in 15 minutes. That was probably the best biryani I’ve had in the US and we always order it at every restaurant. The prices were also quite reasonable and the quantities were really good. Will definitely order again and this has become both our favorite food place in our area.

Had a tasty lunch here recently. Two entrees (one meat, one vegetarian), naan, and rice for $ 9.99. They also ask for your spice level (mild, medium, hot) and deliver accurately. (I’m a wimp, went for the mild.) The ambiance is not much to write home about but the food is delicious and fresh tasting. I have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed.

I have ordered from here many times, and everything is always fresh and very flavorful. You can specify what degree of spiciness you want: mild, medium, hot, or Indian hot. The Samosa Chaat appetizer is enough reason to come here; it’s delicious. My favorites are the chicken tikka masala, palak paneer, and vegetable vindaloo. Each entrée comes with a generous portion of Basmati rice.

Everything we ordered was wonderful. We used the $ 10 for $ 20 deal had enough food for days. The lamb curry was one of our favorites.

Family run, hands down the best Indian restaurant in Parkville, Been eating here for years and never had a bad meal. They will ask you how you like your dish spiced, (mild, medium or hot) if you like to sweat while you eat go for the hot, mild is just fine for me. The Daal is my favorite, and my wife can’t turn down the Vinda Lou. This place is defiantly worth a visit.

Grabbed some quick takeout on a whim while in the neighborhood. Fantastic service and great food for a reasonable price. The Chicken Tikka Masala was moist, flavorful and delicious, my husband raved about the naan and I really enjoyed my chicken saag. We will definitely order again if we are in the area, especially on another cool, blustery evening where warm, inviting Indian food really hits the spot.

For Indian food fans, this is a great place because they will actually make it spicy. Baltimore is strong in the realm of Indian restaurants but it is tough to get the dishes that are supposed to be spicy hot enough here. I worked for an Indian owned I.T. company and was one of a handful of non-​Indians. They introduced me to dishes that are supposed to really scorch you. This place is great because they have been willing to actually make the food spicy as they would eat it. Prior to discovering this place, I had to drive to Rockville to eat at the places there which cater to the Indian I.T. crowd there.

I was looking forward to trying this place, but the service and food were some of the worst I’ve had in the area. The paneer was gray and crumbled beyond recognition, and my boyfriend ordered a chicken dish that was not marinated, dry as chalk, and only barely salvageable after we requested sauce. The staff was unprofessional, shouting orders to the back, drying dishes out in the dining room, the waitress was entertaining her boyfriend wearing a dingy wife beater, and the other host was on his phone the whole time. The half dozen fruit flies hovering about the table were more attentive to us than the waitstaff. In the end we were probably better off just getting an Amy’s frozen dinner.

I adore the food here, we order quite often. I am really sad that we never got to experience the lunch buffet as it is now gone.
I have to say I am obsessed with the butter chicken, like I may need an intervention at some point lol. Their rice is yummy and fragrant. The garlic Naan is so good! The smell is intoxicating! The regular Naan can sometimes be a bit crisp but it’s made in a tandoori which can easily crisp a bread quickly. We’ve never eaten inside the restaurant, mainly because we don’t want people to watch us eat lol. I say yum and make faces and my husband sniffles and drinks milk with his spicy curry… It’s just not pretty, then there’s my two yr old running around chomping on some Naan bread like it’s her last meal. We may possibly need some dinner intervention as well.
Overall I’ve had a few of the different items on the menu, some can be pricy but the quality of the spices and ingredients are well worth it. As I write this review I am drooling and thinking of getting better chicken for lunch. (while my husband is at work) that’s OK right?

Never, ever get delivery! This is a difficult place to review as every time you go, it’s a completely different experience. Our first time, Babu the owner waited on us and service was quick, friendly and the food was amazing. A perfect roganjosh, naan so light it almost floated off of the table, and wonderfully spiced samosas. We ordered medium since it was our first time and it was spot on. We figured we’d order hot next time.
Second time, we had regular waitstaff and she was rude, took forever and forgot our drinks despite being reminded 4… yes 4… times and brought them as we were finishing up. The food was very good, but the spice was way overboard. We ordered medium again since we had plans that night and spicy food can get my heartburn going, but it was indian hot.
Third time we tried delivery. After having both of us get on the phone with the lady who answered who still couldn’t seem to understand our simple order (and vice versa), we were put on hold for over 10 minutes until someone else took our order. 2 hours and 3 phone calls later we were still waiting on our food. When the guy finally showed up 2 ½ hours later, he said they had written the street name down wrong, yet the food was still piping hot?! The food was good, so we figured delivery was a concept they hadn’t mastered and we’d eat in or carry out from there on.
4^th time we ordered carry out and were told 20 minutes. I got there right at 20 mins and was left waiting for another 30. During that time, 2 other people came in furious that their delivery orders had never shown up and they had to come in and pick it up (one said it had been almost 3 hours and demanded the tip she had charged for the driver be returned). When I finally got my food the rice, as mentioned numerous times, was burned, clumpy and had mystery orange spots. We ordered hot and there was not the slightest hint of spice at all. In fact, less than any mild I have ever tasted on a buffet. The aloo gohbi was greasy and had one stem of cauliflower amidst many undercooked potatoes. The naan was dry and had a burnt taste. Just truly dismal.
Everyone seems to have had wildly varying experiences depending on when you go and who is in the kitchen. Disappointing since when they are on, they are great, but when they are off it’s bland, sketchy food and unreliable service.

I would say I’m very experimental when it comes to food, however Indian cuisine is one that I need a little help with. I’m not afraid to try things but for some reason I’m a creature of habit when ordering. With a $ 25
voucher in hand, we popped in here around 8:30 on a Saturday. The place is simple, in a strip mall next to a Chinese restaurant, hookah bar, and nail salon. There is a small area for take out or you use a different door for the restaurant.
The room is simple, nicely decorated one room, with tables, an area off to the side with the cash register, and a beaded curtain bringing you back to the hallway with the bathrooms. There was a VERY large family function going on when we entered and they really looked like they were enjoying themselves. We were seated right away.
It’s BYOB — which I loved, so out popped my big bottle of Woodbridge. I THINK there was a liquor store in the same complex if you forget yours! We order the garlic shrimp and mushrooms as an appetizer, a Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken (for me) I think the only two things I’ve ever ordered at an Indian restaurant! The Butter chicken was my favorite. The sauce was so flavorful. I really really loved it there. We opted for no naan but it was popular with the tables around us! The service was quick, so quick in fact they kept apologizing how long it was taking. Literally, we were waiting 10 minutes. We kept assuring them that there was no rush!
I would definitely return. We took home the seafood Tikka Masala (we had to hit $ 50 for our voucher), which I didn’t get to try yet.

The food was quick, delicious, and cheap! Naan was super good. The restaurant itself could use some redecorating, although I was satisfied with the food, thats all that matters.

The first time me and hubby ordered from here the food was awesome. I had the chicken tika masala and he had a lamb gyro. The food was delivered in a timely manner and it was hot.
Now the second time we ordered from here… again we’re creatures of habit so we had the chicken tika masala and a lamb stew or something like that… the food was good except it seemed like our rice was leftover or had been used already… there were some orange and green spots in it. But other than that we were both pleased with the food.

Couldn’t ask for better food and service. Much love for this kitchen. One of my favorite places to sit down, relax and eat.

Korma vegetables with garlic naan are my favorite things on the menu. I hear all of their Kormas are great. Everything else is hit or miss. I’ve only eaten or ordered take out from here during dinner hours and it’s never been busy so the food is ready in about 15 minutes. I like Indian food & this place frequently offers coupons, & the service is good, so I’ll keep coming back, even if their green & brown side sauces are a little watery.
On future visits, I won’t order the vegetable mixed platter, which was small & greasy-​Only one samosa, 3 onion rings & 3 veg pakoras. Their samoas seem small but maybe I just like how other restaurants make them bigger. I tried the lentil soup once but didn’t like it enough to give it another shot. The naan stuffed with chilies and onions would probably be delicious but it’s Indian hot and simply makes my mouth burn. On a side note, it seems like there is a drastic jump from medium to hot.
Chana masala is one of my favorites but I didn’t like the one I ordered today. However, theirs looks healthier and seems to have less grease than most.

Awesome food. Sometimes it’s hard to communicate with the help, but everyone is happy and helpful. Lunch buffet is great.

We have been to this restaurant a few times over the past few years. I have always had a good experience. This time was no different.
I went to dinner here with my husband and two year old son. We were the only people there when we got there around 6pm on a Saturday. But by the time we left there was about ten tables filled up.
We were served right away and the server was very friendly. We got the Veggie Platter app and the Aloo Tiki. Plus they give you indian chips with three different sauces. (Which kept my two year old very happy) These were all very tasty.
For dinner I got the Chicken Tikka Masala and my husband got the Lamb Vindaloo. We both loved our dishes and ended up taking half home because we were so full.
At the end of the meal my son was asking for ice cream so we tried the Pistachio Kulfi. It was like wonderful coconut milk and mild spices frozen. My son and I ate the whole thing. The server told us that in India they call this dessert Cold Feet (rough translation)

Service here was very rude. The naan… Let’s just say… I don’t know how they can call it naan… And the the rest of the food was not good either. I don’t who recommends this place, But I Will be sure to avoid their recommendations in the future.

Long wait for food. They did not check on us much. Did not refill drinks or ask. Good chicken curry, but I’ll do a different place next time
