My favorite spa in Maryland. The massages are great but the facials are the best I’ve ever gotten. I go every month to get a facial with Brittany who is just great. Would definitely recommend this place.

Such an amazing little gem of a place! I was so impressed as soon as I walked in. The décor was lovely and the ambiance was soothing. The owners/​management were wonderful. My massage was pure bliss. I didn’t want to leave so I scheduled a facial. I’ll definitely be back.

I wanted to write an update, as to how my life has changed since finding the little gem, vita Revive. I have been going to vita Revive now for a year and a half. My health and vigor has substantially changed for the better, and I can’t thank these kind lovely people enough! Irena and Russell the owners, love what they do with such passion, and want so badly to help heal everyone that walks through their door. I have sent many of my «toxic» friends to Irena for healing and cleansing, and they all are so grateful. I don’t know what I would do without my weekly colon hydrotherapy sessions and foot detoxes. I am now free of candida, acne, bloating, and feel so amazing! I can not find words to express my gratitude to Vita Revive and their amazing staff. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

Beautiful place, but anyone and dress up a slum. Owners are more concerned with money versus customer satisfaction and comfortability. I would not recommend the hydrotherapy service, to my dog. Ira was rude and non-​attentive to my needs or concerns. Rule of Thumb, as a health care professional, when using sterile instruments (Yankauer Suction Tube) packaging should be open in front of the client. Once I asked Ira to change it., I should have known session was going downhill. Ten (10) minutes into the procedure, I expressed my issues, concerns, and discomfort. I immediately asked Ira to stop, and discontinue the session, but Ira wanted to continue, ignoring my request. I told her to stop after going back and forth several times. Although the service was unpleasant I was still willing to pay, until she attempted to retrieve full payment. I requested management, to explain, but Ira and the owner had a conversation prior in their native language, once I was able to speak to the hostile owner she hung up on me… THE WORST EXPERIENCE LOOK ELSEWHERE

I have been to this spa on 3 occasions. The first two visits were good however There was an issue with scheduling. I would call and talk to someone over the phone and get an appointment time but I would get confirmation text messages that would give me two completely different time slots than what I would get over the phone. The third visit I showed up to my appointment on time. The Esthetician was over 20 minutes late and never apologized. Everyone at the front desk acknowledged the fact that she was late but they didn’t apologize either. She finally got there, walked me back to the room, left me to get prepared but didn’t walk back into the room for another 20 minutes. No lie. I figured everyone has a bad day so I let it go. This time I called to make an appointment and was given a time slot before they even opened for business. When I talked to the lady over the phone she gave me a later appointment but again when I got my confirmation text messages, it was a completely different time than we originally agreed upon.
Needless to say, I’m done trying to figure out what time I’m supposed to get there. I like the décor, the environment is relaxing but I’m big on customer service. I understand businesses aren’t always perfect but I used to be in the beauty industry myself so I have a good understanding about schedules. If I ever ran late I would either apologize or offer a discount on the service, if not both! I never got that from this location.
Their lack of professionalism has turned me off.

Great staff who know above and beyond of what they’re doing and what’s best for you! Receptionist is calm and friendly and will find the perfect appointment time around your schedule. Everyone is very friendly and nice. They have a calendar with different deals each day definitely worth checking out!

I found out about this spa because of Amazon Local, and I’m very glad I did. The owners are very nice, the spa itself has a very inviting atmosphere and the décor is beautiful. The treatment room was very neatly kept and sanitary but very cozy feeling, not sterile like a hospital. I thoroughly enjoyed the infrared sauna, it was a pleasure to just relax there and meditate. As a fellow holistic wellness practitioner, it’s always nice to be asked to be taken care of instead of being the care taker. I was very pleased with my services and will definitely be going back again.

I can’t say enough good things about Vita Revive Organic Wellness and Spa.
I purchased a groupon, it was my first time attending the spa. I was greeted by the owner upon my arrival– she took an honest and sincere interest in getting to know me and making sure I felt 100% comfortable throughout my service as the spa. The service overall was the best I have had in a long time– it’s truly a place where you feel comfortable as soon as you arrive.
The décor and setting was also wonderful. As someone who really appreciates organic wellness, this spa was perfect. Everyone was so well informed, I felt like I had known the staff for years. The lighting was perfect, the scent, I mean it really was overall a great place.
If you are looking for a place that is beautifuly decorated and has a staff that is 100% attentaive to your needs– then you have to try Vita Revive Organic Wellness and Spa!

Wow, this place just keeps better and better that I felt completely compelled to update my initial review. Since my initial first couple of visits both my husband and I have become regulars at this fantastic place. Which is a big deal given that we live in NY and make a once a month trip to this place, because of how good they are. Both Russell and Irina are fabulous owners who genuinely care about their establishment and the health betterment of their clients. Everything from the up-​keeping of this lovely styled wellness spa to the constant re-​invention of practices and services offered. All geared forwards making each experience unique. It hurts me to see some of the recently posted negative reviews which seem very unfounded in reality and more founded in pure ignorance.
I can’t rave enough about this place, so I’ll just finish with saying that I look forward to ever fourth weekend in each month when get to go and take care of my body at vita revive all the way from NYC.

I’ve been to this place once before and was pretty impressed with everything — from making the appointment through the actual service. I used a Groupon the first time around and it was fine. However, I have another Groupon and when I just went to make my appointment for this service, the guy on the phone a) hung up on me and I had to call back, b) was only half-​listening to me — I could hear another conversation in the background so I think he was trying to resolve that issue at the same time, c) when I asked about Saturday availability I was given an odd song-​and-​dance response about how Saturdays are really only for «real clients», d) I had to repeat myself about 5 times when it came down to scheduling during the week — I needed to know what the latest evening appt was that I could get because I would have to make arrangements to leave work early and then e) when he pulled me up on the system, he kept me on the phone for a good 5 minutes about how I wasn’t supposed to use a Groupon as a returning customer and they are really only for new customers and if I want a deal, I should check their (cheesy) website.
As a Grouponer for several years, I have learned that the first thing to look for in the fine print is whether or not something is for new customers only — and this particular offer did NOT state that. Don’t blame me because you overlooked a key detail in your advertising. This is one small business that should not be in business. The guy who answers the phone is a jerk.

My original appointment was for today at 6pm. I called about 4:30 to see if they could take me earlier and he said sure. I could come in at 5:30. I entered and as begin to walk up the stairs I was starting to feel calm. I was suprised to see a spider web. But other than that the place was clean and simply gorgeous. I reached the receptionist desk and introduced myself and let them know I was there for my 5:30 appointment. The nice lady said oh you are here for a facial. I said no the 90 minute detox and rejuvenation. She showed no disappointment. Great first impression. Then she offered me some water which by the way was cucumber and lemon water. Brittany came and greeted me in the waiting area then took me to get started with my experience. I first stood on a vibrating machine for fifteen minutes. It was vibrating from head to toe. Next I received the 30 minute foot detox. Another relaxing experience. Then off to the infrared red sauna for another thirty minutes. It was 125 degrees. It was a beautiful thing. Last but not least Brittany did her thing with my peppermint scrub and left me to continue relaxing in the awesome Vichy shower. Who could ask for more after one heck of a work week. My body felt amazing. I never felt rushed at all. The aroma alone in this place was calming. The staff very pleasant. I am looking forward to returning. I even made a purchase before I left. This is one place you will leave feeling more than relaxed. They only lost the one star for the spider web because I saw one downstairs also. But, this place rocks.

This is not a «don’t go there review» but more like room for improvement:

The towels smell bad
The sauna is a 5×3 box I’m 5’2″ and I could not get comfortable because it was so tight
Fusion massage was supposed to include hot stones — no hot stones
The décor is cheap and out dated
I made an appointment 6 weeks ago, confirmed via text twice and they asked me to change my appointment to an hour earlier 2 hours before my appointment. Someone called out but they didn’t offer anything other than a reschedule.
Mediocre:
Products are ok, I found the scrub for Vichy and the massage oil left greasy after effects
Massage was not great. My neck is still tight and notty
Now — I had a groupon but the standard prices are on par for zenas, red door, the avenue etc and none of these cons would be acceptable at these other places.

Still a great place — I just want to add to Christina’s review for those who are looking for a colonic.
There are different kinds of colonics…
I have had both.
Closed Colonic: Where the a person fills you with water, pretty much squishes your past meals, drinks, thoughts and dreams into liquid form and suck (ish) out the results with a tube.
Open Colonic: Is like an intense enema over a toilet… hole… thing. So instead of pooping in a tube, you poo a natural poo in a toilet… like an adult. (which they state they do on their site)
I think Christina was disappointed because she read about a closed colonic and did not know there are other colonics (I did not know either until I got one there).
So… Vita’s assistant fills your boo boo with water, makes sure you are comfortable and leaves the room. (Open Colonic) They perform an open colonic because making your insides into liquid (Closed colonic) is not healthy… And who wants to pay an adult to rub your belly while you poo? I did not want them there during or even after (for another 15 minutes) my colonic.
No harm no foul — but your review was like saying you are upset you did not see a veggie burger on a steakhouse menu… They just don’t serve that item.
In conclusion… If you want to try a colonic, I would suggest this place. I think another reviewer liked it (and her privacy) as well.
If you STILL need someone to massage you while you poo, I suggest bringing a kinky friend in tow… Or do it yourself.

I purchased a Groupon deal for colon hydrotherapy. When I arrived I was given lemon, cucumber and ginger water to drink while completing the paperwork. The environment is very relaxing, beautiful and smelled great. Irene was very pleasant and patient during the whole session. She also provided a lot of helpful holistic tips.
Making the appointment was really easy and I scheduled an appointment within two weeks. I plan to return in the near future for other services..

I’m late writing this but it needs to be said and shared THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO HAVE SPA TREATMENTS!!!
Irene and her husband treat you like family. While you read and sign your forms you are offered cucumber and ginger water. The décor is very relaxing and sets the tone. You are put in a room to get undress to put on robe. They provide a bag for all your items as well. I did a package that included a massage, body scrub /​Vichy shower, and body wrap.
Every treatment was Unilocal awesome. What I really like was they asked you before just doing it. (is this alright, you feel ok) The body wrap was serious. The massage made me feel like a loose noodle. My favorite was the Vichy shower after you get over the shocked of being scrubbed and washed by an adult… you begin to feel entitled to the finer things in life and you should never have to do the task yourself.
You must treat yourself to the Vichy shower.

They offer a groupon but you wont schedule an appointment untill after weeks– maybe months.
I called to schedule an appointment, they called me back excited thinking it was a regular appointment. When they knew it was a Groupon, the lady who called me was-​rude– she was afraid to schedule a soonest appointment than what they can do and had to end the call.
I give one star for the customer service!

I am truly going to be a regular at this spa! Irene and Russell are the best! I called in to have a girls spa day for my birthday and they offered so many packages for me to fit in my price range.
I received a massage, body scrub, facial, and body wrap. I was pleased with all my treatments. The products that they use are top of the line along with the equipment.
The environment of the place is very relaxing and modern. All the ladies there are nice and easy to get comfortable around (most of my treatments required me to be nude).
Before my spa start they gave me some cucumber and ginger water. Although I will tell you to be careful with drinking a lot of that water it can make you have to use the bathroom a lot. At the end of my treatment they gave me a smoothie which i can live without but it was a nice gesture! :) I think the smoothie was toooo healthy for me lol
All in all I will be back to this spa! They treat their customers well and they want them to come back by providing a calendar that has different discounts on certain days!
