This bakery is on the corner of Russell and State, and is adjoined to Karpaty.
Get. Here. Early. I made the mistake of showing up just after 1pm on a weekday and the shelves were almost bare. However I was able to score rye bread ($ 5!!!) sliced for free, and some amazingly delicious raspberry cookies ($ 7#). Everything they make is organic, which is a nice surprise. They also carry tortes, cookies, pyrohy, and some frozen goods.
Staff is amongst the most friendly I have ever dealt with!
