History

Established in 2010.

After teaching in a high school classroom for over 10 years, Debbie Seipp Decided to go out on her own. She wanted to help individual students be college ready instead of simply passing a current class. In 2010 she began AZ Math Tutors, naming it after her son Austin Zachary who died at the age of 12. As business grew, it changed from a math only. Debbie gathered like minded teachers with years of experience. AZ Math Tutors is not in the business of making money. It is in the business of helping students of ALL ages reach their dreams.

After teaching high school for over ten years, I became frustrated with the limitations administration was putting on me. I was being forced to spend so much time attending meetings and writing reports about helping students, that I had no time to actually help them! After taking an early retirement, I began AZ Math Tutors. Now, I can help students of all ages meet their educational goals by providing what the school system can not, flexability and individual attention. I have expanded AZ Math Tutors to include Science, English and Spanish help as well. I include only Certified Teachers, many with master degrees, on our roster because they not only know the material students are working on, but where the material is going to lead. I am proud of the quality of the work we do. I am able to help adults who are terrified of math, enjoy the subject and finish their courses with high grades. I am able to help younger students home schooled or regular schooled understand complicated material
