Randolph mall location, 2 person store. Chose because it was close to home.
Disappointed. And Kessler has no customer survey after treatment so they cannot evaluate therapists. There is no feedback of any kind. So I write here.
2 ailments were helped by the standard therapy I received. That went well.
But for one ailment, the initial diagnosis was wrong. In week 3, each therapist still reached for the wrong body part when I mentioned I still had pain, they were both embarrassed when I corrected them. When I corrected one, he quickly said «oh yeah» in a tone to cover up he had no idea where my pain was. I felt like a stranger each visit, they did not remember my problem and I felt how can they correctly treat an area when they have the wrong body part. I was not touched for therapy for several weeks when I finally received hands-​on therapy. That began too minimal with only 1 pain point, I had to again repeat myself to get the attention to all 3 points. I had been asked by both if I wanted this treatment on a visit, and my reply was it was up to them as the therapist to determine frequency. They just did not take charge.
Exercises on this ailment was about 15 minutes. There was no homework, although in past PT at other places I always had homework, typically 3 times a day. When I asked about doing homework, saying 15 minutes 3 times a week did not seem enough to be effective, that therapist became angry and very rudely snapped, «Well, what do you suggest!».
Maybe half the visits, therapists seemed far more interested in doing work at their computer and were irritated if I asked questions. or made comments with concerns. I assume they were doing admin work or on-​line training, and the attention I got was from a distance with them not with me even when starting off on an exercise. On some visits they seemed more attentive and cheerful. It did not help that the receptionist wandered back to the patient area to chat with a therapist on a number of visits. So while I felt ignored, the therapist had a long nice chat with the receptionist, I had to bluntly cut in to get attention for the next exercise. This was more common when the manager was not there.
At end, a sheet with home exercises was left on a chair for me without comment. That was very confusing. The next, last visit I had to ask for explanation as 1 exercise was new, and it turned out others needed modification at home plus buying certain equipment. The therapist seemed confused when I asked how to warm up at home as I did not have the hand bike they use. I also pointed out the sheet said to do exercises daily, but that PT was 3 times a week, so what frequency do I use. He seemed confused then said to do every other day.

Therapists are knowledgeable and professional. I worked with a number of them throughout my post-​op shoulder rehabilitation.
Each therapist would follow my doctor’s protocol by stretching, massaging, rotating, moving, and stimulating my shoulder while recommending exercises that were appropriate for each phase of my recovery.
Melissa was whom I worked with first, and she is excellent. She has a soft touch, works slowly and encourages small victories with each visit. She doesn’t push you very hard in the exercises.
Ratika is the opposite, much more forceful with working your muscles to exertion and will grab and prod to make sure you’re doing the exercises perfectly. Personally, I really liked Ratika’s stronger hands on approach, but I doubt most patients would prefer this. Much better suited for athletes who aren’t afraid to work hard.
Donna is right in the middle. I thoroughly appreciated each of the three, as they all were ready and willing to answer any questions or concerns I had.
The secretary is rather obnoxious, but it’s a small price to pay for knowledgeable therapists. As far as the facilities, they’re nothing fancy or anything to write home about, but they have everything you need to get the job done.
All in all, I’m very satisfied.
