Love Sundance! Won a free round trip cruise to the Bahamas with air fares included from Sundance Vacation. Got a call from a rep on a Monday evening. He was informative, lively and professional and told me that I won it from an entry I made at the balloon festival. I was assigned with a reservation code and he told me that I need to come in with 2 forms of ID (library card no accepted) and sit through a presentation, no purchase required to pick it up. So made the appointment, came in and there’s about 3 – 4 other people who won the vacation package as well. We were greeted by the receptionist who then gave us a form to fill out… nothing personal, more like if you are married or single, your interest, if you make over $ 50k, past vacation, future vacation plans, where you would like to travel and a signature. There’s also cookies, coffees and water in the office as a treat for us. Once we finished with the form, gave it back to the receptionist, we waited until everyone who won arrived. Then we were led into the conference room and our presenter informed us that we just need to listen to the presentation and no purchase is required of us. After the presentation, 3 – 4 reps came into the conference room from the other door, each assigned with a client. We were then led by our rep into a room fill with round tables, where each table has a rep and a client. The rep asked what I think of the presentation and if i have any questions. The vacation packages were 20 vacations for $ 20,000 and 12 vacations for $ 15,000 excluding airfare and food. All packages come with unlimited weekend travels that are leftover and about to expire. There’s monthly payment plan available if you don’t want to pay in full. It’s a good deal depending on where you are planning to travel and how frequent you have to travel out but they were all domestic and Caribbean travels. I politely declined it and he casually excused himself to get his manager. The manager came and made a better offer. Again I declined it. She left and my rep offer a referral discount, knocking the price down by about $ 250 to $ 500 (forgot the exact amount). Again I casually declined it. He then led me to the waiting room to pick up the voucher. Got called and went into a room and a lady issued me the voucher and asked why I didn’t buy the vacation package. Told her the reasoning and she offer a better deal at about 10 vacations for $ 900 to $ 1000 excluding airfare and food. Again, great deal depending on where you planning on traveling and how frequent you know you will be traveling but the locations listed are not on my bucket list so decline the package again and got the voucher. The process for the voucher was to register it within 60 days after it’s been issued and wait for 2 weeks or so to be contacted to pick your location and 3 potential dates to travel (They all seem to be departing on Friday). Reservation has to be at least 2 months out and they will contact you by email at least 45 days prior to the earliest date selected. No major holiday dates are avaliable. Overall, I like Sundance’s sale strategy :)

Idk why people give reviews WITHOUT going to the office, or really try to understand what they are saying. My husband got a call from a rep from Sundance, all excited b/​c she had «great news.» She gave specific details that did NOT make it seem like a fake call, such as how we had filled out a form to win a car at Dorney Park on the date we were there. Well after we called, we found out that we didn’t win a car — we were only entered for a drawing in February. Either the car or $ 50k. But, we had won a Caribbean trip to either Cancún, Jamaica, or Puerto Rico airfare included. Anyway, the rep found us the closest office location to go, we made an appointment. You come in, greeted warmly and treated to cookies/​coffee/​water. You are to give your reservation code that they had given you over the phone, they look you up, show your two forms of IDs, and you are to fill out two forms. One is just your signature that you over 21 (18 if married), make over $ 50k (can include spouse, if married), etc. The other form is about you & your past vacations, future ones, interests, etc. Well we were given about 1 min until a rep came over and said we would be at her table. We walked over, and there were like 10 little circle tables all over a large room. She talked to us about vacation packages to buy. She assured us that we were NOT required to buy anything, simply just listen to her presentation. So we did. First offer, 20 vacations for $ 20,000. 2^nd, 12? vacations for $ 15,000. This one was the best, it came with more offers and extra bonuses. Third offer was $ 10,000 for i forget how many. We declined even after her she got her «manager» and «vice president? or someone? Anyway they use the form you fill out for ways of selling to you. Oh you like the beach? –imagine going to PR or DR. Our rep filled out the form as we talked to her, as we had almost no time before she had first come over. She made it seem kind of like a casual convo. I had read reviews online, so I was prepared. But I was honest. They’re obviously selling for bonuses/​commission and can get pushy. But you dont have to buy anything! Simply & politely decline. It seems like a good deal if you know 100% you will be traveling and of course, have the money. You have to put $ down and pay per month, amount depending on their offer/​package. After she saw we couldnt be bought, tried her best, she said ok, well i will take you to our gift center to get your vacation. We went over & again another rep tried selling, & this last one gave a bit of attitude. Soo good luck trying to win over other clients… Overall, it was interesting, SUPPOSEDLY there are no black out dates and you can stay with 3 – 6 people at your hotel, like friends/​family. But I read things online saying how difficult it is to get the date you want or ANY date for that matter. So idk. They told us that they guarantee availability, & if you had a problem on the trip they refund it to you for free. Who knows. It’s great for those who KNOW 1000% sure they WILL be using all that vacay time. I mean it does last your lifetime, & theres no inflation– so thats good. About the only thing i didnt like is that they are ONLY OFFERING THE STAY. No airfare or food. Just accommodations. But i say DEF GO, if you get a call — LUCKY YOU! You may like what you hear. Ask questions! And read up. Plus, you REALLY DO GET THAT VACAY FOR FREE (just pay the tax of about 104−180pp?) I say it is most definitely worth the hour of your time :)

Paul came out and was very informative, professional and pleasant. Sundance offers great service and we think they offer a great value. Great company.

I’m confused but its so obvious how this company is doing business after i read every review for this company left by there friends and everyone is so happy and excited with there 5 stars and all of them very conveniently around the same month and yr haha, and Unilocal is hiding them all bc its so fake and controlled by the people that are running this so called amazing vacation company. Well here’s my story Unilocal lets see if you hide my comments, in 2012 of July 11^th it all started and I want to say beware be very aware of this to good to be true shit, BC i went to Rockaway NJ for this amazing seminar that include 2 free cruise tickets and i didn’t have to buy into anything i was told, after they kept calling me for a month that i won free tickets so to shut them up i finally agreed to show up, after my demo for 60 mins or so i wasn’t allowed to leave till i went thru at least 3 other guys and even a some what attractive girl that didn’t get my sale and she tried very hard but they did lower my price from there main man named Michael, must of been the top sales man and there last chance with me bc he came in blaze of glory style giving me a story and lowering my price from 10k to 5k, when it first started higher then 10k and then all the way down to 5k was my deal so i felt ok thinking this was a real deal and these were good people just making a living not stealing my living and money. Some lady named Joan was gong around trying to make deals and get us to sign the Sundance vacation contracts and if she couldn’t make it happen well Michael was the main person to the rescue. Tri state financial in Wilkes-​Barre PA, started taken my 41.67 out of my account on Sept 1 2012 and its continuing for 59 payments plus a final payment of 41.47 totaling 2,500 plus my down payment of 2,500 that happened on July 11^th 2012 totaling 5k, and that only got lowered bc i kept saying i cant afford this and im not interested for 1hr so finally i gave up just so i can leave the place and take my 1hr ride back home, still feeling maybe this was a good idea? Well i tried 4 times to make reservations with TAN travel advantage network and in my disbelief I couldn’t and they made me call phone numbers that had nothing to do with there company and i couldn’t get any dates that i wanted and all the dates were always blocked for some odd reason even off season very convenient for them that is. Bottom line Sundance Vaction llc corp, company what ever you are? is plain and simple you are a marketing company to push traveling company’s like others and then your no help. this is my experience with this free tickets and sign up lets take your money and then nothing, and for all the great reviews maybe Unilocal should look into this marketing rating even though they figured it out them selves that its all a plot and controlled from friends and maybe even family.
