We are a family owned, full service electricians. From our modest start with one electrician in 1997 until today we have been committed to ethical business and affordable pricing.

We specialize in full service electrical and construction for both residential and commercial customers. We can solve troublesome issues with power outages, add new outlets or circuits, or design and build a new electrical installation from start to finish. We have all required licensing and insurances. Our electricians are tested for skill level, drug screened and have a background check before they hired. Our people are trained to provide service in a friendly, competent, timely manner. History

Established in 1997.

After 18 years in the trade, Philip Jones started Access Electric as a one-​man operation out of a well equiped van. Philip had worked for good companies along the way and learned a lot but he believed they were missing key elements in their business philosophy. His goal from the begining has been to create a company that will provide customers excellent service while treating employees with respect and supporting them in their goals. There have been many ups and downs and we have grown into a mid-​sized shop over the years but that original goal still guides every decision we make. We now have 10 service trucks, 2 bucket trucks and all the other equipment needed to provide affordable quality service. Our one acre facility on East Sam Houston Tollway has a distinctive red building with our logo and lighting painted on it. This as well as the bright red schoolbus wrapped with our graphics make us stand out to the passing motorists. We look forward to serving you!

Business Owner

Started in Electrical Trade at 15 years old as a helper to his father who was a Master Electrician. Started formal apprenticeship school at 19 and graduated at 23 with Journeyman’s license. Worked all types of construction from River Oaks to Nuclear Power to High Rise until moving into strictly service at age 29. By age 33 Philip attained his Master Electrical License after several more years of study and night school. At age 34 in 1997 he founded Access Electric and has been involved in the day to day operations from that time until now.
