So, let’s start off by saying that my family is from the southern Valley and that area is the ONLY area where I could enjoy yummy exotic treats like these. I literally had happy feet when I heard about this place. I live on the complete other side of Pasadena, but the trip was totally worth it. The place is rather small just like any other snow cone place. Their menu is off the wall though! We ordered a MangoPina which is basically a Mangonada inside of a Pina. If you don’t know what a Mangonada is, it’s basically like a frozen Mango slush. People make it all sorts of ways, but majority of people put Tajin(similar to lucas), chamoy(sweet salty sauce), or chili in it. They topped it off with so many yummy fruits, gummies, and fun stuff! We also ordered a KlamatoMaxx which was my absolute FAVORITE. Clamato preparado is my weakness! So, basically what this is. it’s a Clamato(sold in the same section as V8, similar to tomato juice) with a lot of spices and condiments. Clamato preparado is very often compared to a Bloody Mary(minus the alcohol in this case). It was also decorated with celery sticks, and lots of other goodies. Lastly, we ordered a Strawberry Mango Avalanche which was also super delicious. This thing was a MOUNTAIN of goodness. It was a frozen, creamy Strawberry Mango slush topped with Strawberry and Mango fruit pieces and some delicious condensed milk. Overall, I would definitely recommend this fun place for everyone to enjoy during its Summer season.

I saw a few of my friends on Unilocal posting about this place last year. So I bookmarked it. I figured I would never make the drive all the way out to Pasadena. However, after moving closer to the area, the drive isn’t nearly as far. I gotta say, this place makes some very instagram worthy drinks(ie: colorful). When you pull up, it’s a small stand, in the front of a storage unit? There is additional parking in the back, but it’s not huge by any means. The ONLYACCEPTCASH, so be warned before you make the drive. They have pictures of the drinks on the wall with the prices next to it,(does not include tax). We ordered the Avalanche mix(mango and strawberry), this one you can think of a snowcone/shaved ice, with fresh mango and strawberry slices, covered in condensed milk, straight forward but damn delicious. We also got one of the masonmangoswim? This is their variation on the mangonada. So expect a mango type smoothie, with fresh mango slices, along with a tangy, spicy mix, topped with candy and a tamarind stick. The prices are a bit high, but it’s good, and you get to keep the mason jar. If you ask nicely, you can get the lids too for free. I would take people here, as it makes for a great picture and tasty treat, especially in the summer time.

I went today at 1. There was one person who had ordered as I walked up to place my order. The employee asked me to wait and I figured she was going to give another employee the Order ticket. I waited about 15 – 20 minutes and the line to place an order started to grow. I ended up leaving before the girl even bothered to open the window to take any orders. They should have someone strictly taking orders. I watched the girl through the window and all she did was speak to another employee who I was assuming was making the customer before me’s things. The drinks are good but their setup is bad.

Cool place to take a friend or family member visiting in town. Cute little place. Kind of pricey but you get what you pay for and its bomb!

This place is crap. The parking lot will give you a flat tire. It’s in front of a junk yard looking crud hole. We got a nearly $ 10 drink and my son wanted it solely because the picture showed LOTSOFCANDY. We got it and it only had one dinky candy. Such a let down.

Totally a novelty but too cute to pass up. Ordered the #1: strawberry lemonade that comes in a 32oz mason jar you can keep and take home. All kinds of gummy candies and fruit are perfectly assembled on top. The lemonade itself is more sweet than tangy. I wish there was more of a lemon taste than just sugar water considering it is a lemonade. Parking is a little sketchy but service was quick. Cash only

The plain lemonade was really tasty, homemade and not too sweet. The snow cones were great. Can’t wait to go back and get those wild looking drinks!

#WorthTheDrive ! This place is so cool and unlike anything I’ve ever seen. They have a large selection of ‘drinks’ to choose from. Prior to going here I thought it was just drinks but they actually have food items such as hot Cheetos you can top with queso, hot Cheetos with hot sauce and pickles(really good), and these crazy fruit concoctions! If you’re not feeling the ginormous drinks then you can opt for a snow cone that they still make pretty. Expect to wait 10 – 15 mins! Parking is VERY limited and very ‘sketch’. They have plenty of places to eat, drink, wait, & hang out! *NOTE: CASHONLY*

The snow cone was not as tasteful as I thought, but the fruit however was really delish and fresh.

ONLYACCEPTSCASH — Make sure you have the exact amount. Sometimes they«don’t» have cash back because they do not have small/large bills. Forgot which it was of the two. Brain Freeze Sno-Cones & Snacks is a great, fun spot for the summer time. Great for all ages, kids would enjoy this place the most. Everything is fresh and made from order. Parking is plentiful and available behind Brain Freeze. This one black car was blocking access to the other parking space, which was annoying. Please be cautious about how you park for others here. I can’t say when to arrive because the wait time can alter drastically. I had to make a run for cash because I didn’t know it was cash only. Once I arrived again, the wait time was extended to 20 minutes instead of 10 minutes. Within the 8 minute run, 4 people arrived with many standing in line behind me afterwards. My turn to order, I ordered #4 — Piñalada which was $ 16~ with tax. It takes approximately 30 minutes to make this. It was essentially a pineapple cut in the middle with pineapple pieces and your choice of drink. I chose the strawberry lemonade, which Brain Freeze is known for. The amount of strawberry lemonade in the pineapple was saddening. It was fun eating the sour critters and fruit slices on top of the pineapple. If you order an item with a mason jar, you can keep it. Everything is around $ 10, give or take $ 5. Is it worth it? Eh, not in my opinion. It’s nice to try it once and drive to Pasadena and say been there, done that. If I was to come again, I would order something else next time like #13-#17 on the menu. Some items are unique but not others because I’ve seen other establishments selling similar things.

Summer is coming to a close, and the weather outside is somewhat tolerable. That being said, my family wanted to check out this establishment while the weather deemed it necessary for a cold beverage. My daughter discovered this Brain Freeze via social media and has been asking us to take her here all summer. We finally all had time available and drove on over. It was easy to find but parking was a little scarce. The menu is on wall next to the counter where you order. There are plenty of items to choose from here with pictures so you are not ordering blindly. We chose the extreme strawberry lemonade. I believe it was the number one. It comes in a huge mason jar(which you get to keep), and it is a sight to see. It’s pricey at 10 dollars, but I can see why they charge that much. You keep the jar and it takes time to decorate and make it look like it does. It has pineapple and strawberry pieces floating in it, as well as all kinds of gummy candies decorated on top of the drink. The lemonade itself was delicious and was not overly sweet. We also ordered a mango swim. They have prices on the wall, but you can opt for a cheaper version in a Styrofoam cup for $ 3.50 I believe. It’s basically a mango slush with fresh mangos mixed in. It was tasty as well and refreshing. My one complaint was the parking and dirty tables. the lot was muddy and space was limited to park. The tables were covered in spilt drinks and sticky. The flies and mosquitos were out full force so we ended up enjoying our drinks in the comfort of our car. That being said, I will definitely be back sooner than later when I need a nice cold drink in the summer heat!

I stopped by this place while visiting Houston and it’s Great!!! Everything tastes fresh and the portions are large!!! You also get to keep the mason jar! I ordered the #7 Pineapple which had some green apples in it and came in a 32oz mason jar. It was refreshing, not too sweet and came with cherry’s and green apple slices. After i ordered mine i wish i would have ordered 2 because everything coming out of the window looked so delicious! The pineapple with cut fruit inside, the spicy mango drink, basically everything looked fresh, large and delicious. Overall I highly recommend this place. Make sure to prepare for limited parking, a 20−30min wait between the time you order and actually get your drink and prepare to possibly be in the sun because shade can get limited if the place is packed with 20 people. Tip: Just order and wait in your car with the AC on… unless you came prepared to tan. lol

It was very icy, as if it wasn’t blended well enough. We literally waited 30 minutes or more for two drinks… But I can see why. It was very artsy and creative. Was worth the long drive from southwest Houston to this cute shop. However I think it would have been more satisfying if I had gotten something more liquid, or juice, instead of a slush or magonada. Overall, if I had a lot of time again, I will be back. Wish it was a little more cheaper because I really wanted the drink with an actual pineapple called piña colada with a real fruit juice like watermelon juice but it was a little over $ 15. Mango swim(32 ounce) was $ 12 plus tax. A little high on the price.

I heard about this place through a friend and since I was 20 minutes away, I thought the drinks looked so nice that it would be worth the drive. I’d probably now say that it wasn’t. My biggest pet peeve was the flies. They would NOT stop. Every time you shoo’d one away there would be another one on your shoulder or trying to get at your drink. Like constantly, I’m not even joking. Maybe some optional indoor seating would be nice? Or some bug spray? The drinks were REALLY sweet but overall pretty good but they could’ve cut down slightly on the sugar. I’d recommend the drive to anyone that’s interested AND lives within a 10 mile radius.

This place is nothing like you’ve ever seen before! It’s essentially a drink stand with snow cones and a few Hispanic snacks, but it’s their presentation that makes them unique. We tried the Xtra Special Strawberry Lemonade and a Mixed Strawberry and Mango Avalanche. Both were super refreshing, and the lemonade was decorated with all sorts of gummy candy. Just like others said, the prices range around $ 10/drink and it does take a couple minutes to prepare each drink, but it’s definitely worth it during the summertime heat!

Pretty sweet spot! They’re not just fancy, fun drinks — they have regular snowcones too! If you’re in a hurry, may not be the place to stop(especially on a Sunday or holiday), but they have tables and chairs for those who can wait! They’re over the top and more pricey drinks are really yummy and fun if you’re looking for something to treat yourself with, but also they’re a great spot for your $ 2 summer snow cones to beat the Texas heat. It was a bit confusing for me to figure out what I wanted and what would meet the expectations of the pictures online and the menu didn’t lend too much help, but I am excited to figure it out in the future! My strawberry lemonade was pretty expensive($ 11) but it was really fun for a one time thing! Had a lot of fresh fruits and candy, but I may just get a simpler version next time because no one needs all that sugar. Cute little spot for the area though and will be very popular once the Texas summer is in full swing!

Literally the best snow cone place I’ve ever been too. So many options and its unique and fun. You go for the experience and then come back over and over because it’s so good. Worth the drive if you live anywhere near Houston. I drive 30 minutes and if I could I’d go once a week.

A jaw-dropping place to say the least! I am so amazed how they come up with these crazy drinks and food items, and how they assemble them! I can’t tell you the name of the drinks because I don’t know the names, and the ones that do have names are outrageously long. The names are fun but not easily memorized. Lol. I got the strawberry lemonade drink that comes in a large mason jar with an array of fresh fruits and delicious gummy candy assembled on top. The total was $ 10.83. Prices are steep here, but I think the price has to do with the experience and how unique it is. I don’t mind paying the high prices, but I wouldn’t mind them lowering the prices either. The strawberry lemonade was the right amount of sweetness and tanginess. There are slices of fresh strawberries and limes in the drink. Thank you using real fruits! The wait is a few minutes because it takes time to assemble each item. I imagine that if it was a busier day, then the wait would be a little longer. Keep that in mind when you go. I went right before closing. The wait was less than 10 minutes with 4 orders in front of me. There is a grapefruit flavor as well. Parking is very limited! You enter one driveway and drive around to the park. Unless you are lucky, then there are like 3 makeshift spots in front. It’s easy to find. It’s a little blue house. There are tables and chairs outside for you to wait and enjoy your stuff. Next time, I want to try the jumbo apple licious thing which is like apple spirals/slices with chamoy and LOTS of candy! It runs for $ 15.
