Established in 1968.

We have been an established company in the community for over 47 years. We started as a company with only a dozen or so samples and have now grown to have a full showroom that carried over 125,000 pieces to choose from.

We had to replace the bamboo floor in our town home. With so many types of flooring to choose from, Arturo listened to what I wanted and showed me a number of choices. I found what I wanted and an installation date was set. The crew showed up on time and couldn’t have been nicer. They cleaned up each day, too. My floor looks fabulous!
Carousel provides great customer service. The employees are very knowledgeable about ALL the products they carry and their bids are fair. I did not feel pressured to upgrade to something I didn’t want. If the need arises, we will use Carousel again in a heartbeat.

I’m a Pasadenean and know that Carousel has been around forever. I recently had engineered, wood floors installed at my residence and all went very smoothly; from the initial meet up with the Carousel staff, to the actual installation (only 3 days), and the last meet up with them to pay my balance.
I had contacted other flooring companies and it was a headache dealing with their staff, so I went to Carousel and had them do the job. My Garrison2, Maple Expresso2 floors look fabulous.

SOOOO happy I found Carousel! Kind of by accident, but they saved the day! I needed vinyl sheet flooring in a hurry and was told by 2 other «big boxes» that it would be a 14 day special order. Carousel could have it in 2 days!!! Terry, Marv and Arturo were all very helpful and friendly. They gave me great advice even though I had my own installer. I’ve also since learned that Carousel has a great reputation for service and quality installation. My experience was so awesome, they’ve earned a customer for life.

Called Carousel Floors to get a price quote on installation. I wasn’t too concerned about what exact particular tile to be quoted on, so I asked to just use $ 3 a sq ft. I told the gentlemen on the phone that I would like a quote based off of square footage for 70 sq ft. He insisted that I should come out and see what tile I would like. I explained that I was just interested in getting a price quote and the particular tile was not of importance to me at the current moment. I asked for a quote again and he again insisted that I should come in because it is hard to quote a price if he doesn’t know exactly what tile I want.
I want a tile in the $ 3 a square foot range! Then I want to know what you would charge to install that into a 70 sq ft area. There is no additional information to need in order for me to have to come into the physical store. If you could have just quoted me a price you have a high chance of gaining my business, but if you are going to be irrational and incompetent about something so simple I can’t imagine what it would be like to actually have to go through the entire process with this business. To tell me that you can not quote a price unless I am in the store is ridiculous. Especially since I had just called two other local places and received a quote in a matter of a minute. No hassle.
I may have just gotten the wrong person on the phone today, but that’s all it takes. Listen to what your customer needs.

Several years after they installed carpets and flooring in my house (about $ 25K worth), I called because I needed some repairs on the bamboo flooring, and the carpet they installed is lumping up and needs re-​stretching, and I was told that they don’t do repairs. They gave me the name of an installer who hasn’t bothered to call me back. Don’t expect any service or care from these people after they get your money.

I worked with Carolyn at Carousel for the purchase and installation of Marmoleum (linoleum) flooring in my kitchen. She was thorough in explanation of what would need to be done to have the linoleum installed right and how to care for my new floor.
Their flooring installer was just as polite and professional as Carolyn, being careful with the hardwood flooring in the dining room where he placed the appliances while installing the floor — no scratches or gouges!
I am very pleased with the end result and recommend Carousel to anyone who wants a hassle free flooring transaction at a reasonable price.

They allow you to take as many samples as you want or need to test out at your home for no extra cost. They are ready and willing to answer all of your questions without being pushy – they give you the space you need to make your own mind up about your flooring. Their response time is fast and they will show up at your door the day after you call them to give you an estimate. Carousel is the perfect flooring company because they keep things straightforward and simple. You get the best prices for great quality flooring and excellent service. Period. What else do you need?

Overall great experience at Carousel Custom Floors. We got new floors and the whole process flowed very nicely. The job couldn’t have been done any more efficiently. There was really no waste in time.
Everything they do is quick and very accommodating. You want an estimate? They’ll show up at your door the next day. Need to take home some samples? Go right ahead. Take as many as you want. You want to know when they can start working? They’ll give you an exact date and they stick to it. They are very time conscious once they’re ready to install the goods. They get on their knees and work away like there is no tomorrow. I never felt for a second they were goofing off.
Everyone here I’ve dealt with has a mellow, caring attitude. There’s nothing pushy about how they treat their customers. It was a stress-​free experience all the way.
They also had great pricing. We talked to several other places, but Carousel Custom Floors had the best price. Highly recommended.

Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, thorough. And you don’t leave feeling like you were just harassed by a used car salesman… you leave knowing you are getting a great product at a great price with great service. (Unlike some other local flooring stores!)
Oh…but first you leave with as many free samples as you want, as they *highly* recommend you live with the samples on your floor for at least a week to make the right choice. Again, unlike other places where you hand over $ 20 just to take a sample home, and they try to pressure with a «today only» price.
And did I mention they are a locally owned small business in Pasadena for 40 years?
