Sales staff is very knowledgable, professional & friendly. Great selection & the salesman fitted me with the best conceal carry set up that was right for me. Awesome pistol & holster. Plus they have 0 interest financing too. The store has a small town feel & look. I’ll never buy another firearm at a big box store!

Stopped here during lunch to just check if my rifle was sighted in. They took my rifle placed it on a shelf and had me wait 45mins before I could talk to someone again. Asked me what I wanted and told them I just wanted re sight in my rifle. Very poor communication between staff (who gladly tells you it’s there 3rd day here). Thought I’d be able to shoot a few rounds on my lunch but got stuck waiting around their lobby for an Hour.

This is only the second time I’ve been to Carter’s. The first time was to find information about how to get the Concealed Handgun License, the second to buy a firearm. Both times the staff was very friendly and super informative. I find it funny that there are always a few older men standing around the store, talking about weapons, hunting and the such. Kind of reminds me of a barbershop! They were nice and work as a support system when the buyer is a little uninformed (like I was).
My brother and I went, they helped us choose the gun (.38), the ammo, the cleaning kit and a safe. I am very happy with my purchase. They weren’t just selling me a gun, they were educating me about gun ownership. Next time I will be going for my 9 mm. Meanwhile, I am definitely a fan.
