History

Established in 2001.

Sylvia Hicks graduated from the University of Houston in 1984 with a BBA in accounting. After working several years in the accounting field, Sylvia and her daughter, Kerri, decided they would like to open their own business.

They decided to build Children’s Enchanted Learning Center because of Kerri’s love for children and her dream of having her own daycare. They began planning for the center in October of 1999. Construction began in April of 2001 and was completed in October of 2001. Children’s Enchanted just celebrated our ten-​year anniversary and the success of the Center is far beyond our expectations. Our success is due mainly to you, our parents, and your children. Thanks to all of you.
