History

Established in 2003.

Code 3 Life Support Education was started in 2003 and is based on the fundamental principle that human life is fragile and valuable.

Many medical and traumatic conditions can be effectively managed while emergency crews are on the way. We believe that it is imperative that not only those in the healthcare profession, but also those throughout the community, be aware and have the skills to handle unexpected emergencies.

The instructors at Code 3 Life Support Education consist of licensed Paramedics and EMT’s and have a combined teaching experience of more than 20 years. All of our staff currently work in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside and Ventura counties, keeping them in practice and up to date on the latest treatments used in the field.

It is our mission to provide a comfortable and relaxed learning environment while teaching practical and critical skills.

This place is great. Scheduled to come in to take PALS skills test and the instructor was awesome very helpful. Staff was very friendly. I will be coming back for my next renewal and take the actual class which seemed very fun and great learning experience.

Wow, Mike is an awesome instructor. He gave us many real life situations and made the training simple and easy to follow. This was my CPR/​AED renewal so I had some experience with other educational center. I have to say, this was the most effective and fun class. Highly recommended and will be back for my next renewal. I took my first CPR class here for BLS Health Care Providers with Fred Selayandia. I had a blast taking this class! Though it was early in the morning, this instructor was very energetic and funny.
Purchase of a textbook is required upon taking a class. You can buy it there for $ 15 or buy one ahead of time. We didnt use the textbook at all in class, but I think it’s a good thing to have around the house.
Adult and infant dummies are provided as well as the mouth pieces to ensure effective CPR practice.
We were taught through a series of videos and Fred was always eager to answer any questions as well as constantly review so that our test taking experience will be a lot smoother.
I thought it was really neat how they provide coffee, water, and snacks to keep you awake as well.
I would definitely recommend this place to a friend and will be coming back here when I need a renewal!

Awesome trainer! He deserves closer to 4 stars but there aren’t halves, so I gave the company a 3 star.
My organization hired them to come and do FirstAid/​CPR training, and they were very good.
Joe, who seemed to be the owner? but also a presenter was on fire! Energetic, funny, and knowledgeable. Yeah, he was good– He handled 70 adults very well! His energy and motivation were contagious.
Since I haven’t experienced other CPR training companies, I wouldn’t be able to gauge their approach in more detail. Also since I didn’t hire them personally I am not sure how they handle the business end of it.
I can assure you though that training was fun!

I was already certified and did not need to take this class. However, I had a lot of people in my life that needed to take this class. Some of my friends and family members had no idea what to do, if god forbid, something happens to a loved one.
So, I hosted a class and invited them to attend. I had a good turn out. Joe, the instructor was very engaging and informative. He was super funny, took his time to explain, and made sure we understood. My mom was worried that she would be bored in class, but after it was over, she said «I’m surprised that I understood everything and truly loved the class» (this means, Joe too!) ;) lol Everyone else that was in class also gave great positive feedback.
This class will prepare you for the worse. If you have children in your life, parents, or anyone that you love (and i’m sure you have at least one person) you must take this class. Take it regardless, because you never know, one day you may and can save a life.

An educational and worthwhile experience with Sharif and Shant. I now actually look forward to recertification in a couple of years. They take the pain and anxiety out of ACLS/​BLS and make it very enjoyable and useful for my work. Thank you guys.

My BLS card needed to be renewed so a friend referred me to this place. The class was very easy to book online. The instructor name was Robert Coster and he was amazing. He took his time to make sure everyone knew what they were doing. He did not cut corners and his lecture was very entertaining. The class was around 3 hours but I do not blame him because there were five people who never had their BLS.
The price was 50 $ for a renewal which was a steal.
The drive took 45 minutes to get there from my house and I will gladly make that trip again for my ACLS class.

I have taken a few CPR classes and this was by far THE BEST!
Joe is very knowledgeable, interacting, and thorough. I haven’t had this much fun at an instructional class in a very long time. He was well equiped, both educationally and with actual resources, and not only that but he is extremely funny and entertaining! He came and taught at our office and had the entire office laughing and happily learning, and kept our attention the entire time. He was on time, and finished in a timely manner as well, which is important to a business. I definitely recommend him and Code 3 Life to anyone in the LA area!

I did the ACLS/​BLS renewal course. It was simple, quick, and very informative. Got my cards that same day. I really enjoyed the class and highly recommend code3life. The admin staff was really friendly and answered my questions. Shant was very helpful and made signing up so easy. You get 10% off with the code Unilocal10 when you check in. Will definitely renew at code3. I had sharif as my instructor btw. Really great guy/​instructor.

I booked an ACLS renewal and BLS renewal combo class and was able to cancel it very easily via phone with no questions asked. They refunded my money quickly. I, later on, booked a First Aid only course.
Pros:

— Entertaining and informative instructor (I had Fred S.)

Con:
— Purchased the First Aid book, but we didn’t even use it. However, I normally would sell my books, but I decided to keep this one for quick reference. It’s a clear and informative manual.
I would book classes here again in the future.

We all know that CPR is important, but it’s not always the most exciting class to take. Not true for Code 3 Life Support! The first time I took BLS for Healthcare Providers it was two years ago at UCLA for their Care Extender program. The class was taught by Code 3 Life and was so fun and informative. Joe (the owner) was so passionate about the subject and made the class so much fun. When it was time for me to renew my card I looked around at a few places that were more local, but ended up deciding to make the 45 minute drive to Pasadena. It was so worth it. I can’t recommend them more.

I came here for the CPR/​AED certification last week. There were only 5 of us in the class, and I really feel like our teacher, Joe (who is also the owner), catered the class to our specific needs. I get that he probably teaches for 15 to 20 on average, but his class was just as good with only 5.
It’s informative, only about 2 hours in length and gets you the paperwork you need to get on with your other certifications. It is nice to have someone teach you the basics of saving a life though!
Highly recommend this place– I definitely wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Recently took a First Aid, CPR and AED certification class and it was well worth it. The class was 4 hours total. 2 hours for CPR and AED training and another 2 hours for First Aid training.
It was very informative and captivating. 4 hours sounds like a long time but it seriously passed by really fast. This place is well kept and they have great CPR dummies. I never realized how much force you have to put into CPR. The dummy ACTUALLY lit up with green lights so you know you were performing CPR correctly! I feel like this is great, you know exactly if your CPR could potentially save a life.
They provided coffee, tea and granola bars for the long class which was nice. We noticed there were also dog dummies and they offer a pet CPR class!
After your training you are provided your certification card. Would definitely recommend coming here. It was cheaper than other CPR/​AED training classes I found online and this was very informative and worth while.

Great location to get your CPR certs done! Location is in a small dead-​looking plaza next to the 210 freeway, but the inside is well kept and clean. The employees there are nice and helpful, and the chick who did my cert was definitely passionate about health/​diseases (think she was going for a PhD). Great examples, great tips, definitely worth coming here… will be back in 2 years to renew!

Loved it! The instructor was very thorough and gave lots of feedback.
She was also very energetic– which was awesome!
The class itself was very small, with just 6 of us.
I’ll probably be back here when I have to renew!
