My friend scanned my Macbook Pro (2010) and said the hard-​drive was failing. It’s over 5 years old. I immediately checked Unilocal to find the best of the best. I love to give business to the independent businesses. I found Tony right away and gave him a call. He got right back to me, and we scheduled a day and time. He is pretty busy (which to me is a good sign) He gets lots of referrals. Anyway, he told me right away that the hard drives only lasts about 5 years, so we knew that was pretty much the issue. After Tony checked, he said it was definitely the hard-​drive. I was grateful that he took on the task. After working on it overnight, he was successful. I know I got a good deal, and now I feel like I’m working on a new Macbook Pro laptop. It’s FAST FAST FAST. I had no idea what i was missing. Tony is honest, knowledgable and reasonable. A friend recommended connectionz to me because Tony had fixed her broken computer and hard drives 3 times in the past and his price is very reasonable.
I came to Tony with a very broken hard-​drive, one that Best Buy couldn’t fix. He got back to me quickly and said my external needed a «clean room» recovery. He helped me get in touch with the right people, mailed out the external and negotiated for a better price. His service is really good, and didn’t charge me anything on his end. I just got my external back today. At least 99% data restored in its original folders.

Tony is absolutely amazing! We’ve used his excellent services twice now, but most recently we had a PC that crashed and we needed Tony to bridge some legacy software that was from 1995 to our new PC, which was running Windows 10. We tried installing the software ourselves, but of course with no luck. Couldn’t find the original install CD either. Tony was able to get the software up and running from install files saved to a flash drive, onto our new PC, without any kinks — all data recovered, too. He’s amazing (kind of like a Rockstar PC tech). Whatever issues you’re having, give Tony a call, because he’ll most certainly be able to fix them!

I was sick of feeble Wi-​Fi signals in the back of my house and have wasted money on a few allegedly-​good Wi-​Fi repeaters (none of them work well, trust me).
So I bought a couple of nice wireless routers, ran an Ethernet cable under my house to hook them up and, voila!, had no idea how to configure them even with the manual and hours of online research.
I email Tony, who is the ONLY employee in his company (which is good, cuz he knows his stuff and isn’t sending out a pimply-​faced hack to mess things up) and he comes out the next day.
Thirty five minutes later he has hooked them up and reconfigured, set up new account names and passwords of my choosing and walks around my house and backyard showing me my new blazing fast, cancer-​inducing powerful Wi-​Fi signal!

Tony is great guy. He repaired my business computer HD after business hours, which was very helpful. He knows what he’s doing & provides great customer service, which is very hard to find now days. I just want to chime in with top ratings for Tony. Forgot to post a review at the time, but in Feb. 2014 he recovered data and precious family photos from our Cub Scout leader’s very old PC that had crashed beyond repair and been left in an alternately damp/​dusty garage for the winter. My son’s aging Dell laptop suffered a severe head crash, and I didn’t have a backup image. I’d done a fresh reinstall twice before on this machine, and it’s rather labor intensive. Once I learned I couldn’t find the image I’d created the second time, I didn’t want to go thru it again. So I brought the machine and a replacement drive to Connectionz.
It took Tony two tries to restore the laptop to operating condition, but it wasn’t his fault (his first restore included windows’ default DirectX graphics drivers, which turned out to be incompatible with one of my son’s games, and the age of the machine made it hard to find the right drivers). Nonetheless Tony refused to charge me additional labor for the second attempt.
Tony’s service was prompt, polite, and knowledgeable, and his price was fair. I highly recommend Connectionz, especially if you are seeking service for a Dell computer.

Tony came to my office to fix a bunch of different problems I was having on 4 different computers. He checked the performance on all of them and taught me how to read the diagnostics. The then fixed the problems I was having and showed me the parts I needed to order for my main computer. So many others would have ordered the part themselves and and then charged me more, but not Tony. He helped me search different sites to find the cheapest price. He even said its in easy install and offered to walk me through it over the phone to save me money.

I originally found Tony for the business I was working for in Pasadena. First I took the desktop to Staples for a diagnosis and they kept it for about 2 days then told me they could fix it for a million dollars (not really but, well you know what I mean) so I decided to do a little research and found Tony. I called him, told him the problem and he said to bring it over that morning. He had it fixed by that afternoon and was so reasonably priced — my boss was VERY happy.
Since then I have used him time and time again and referred MANY others and they always tell me how happy they are with him. Not only is he a cool guy but he also knows his stuff.
Recently I had a laptop that suddenly stopped working when I changed my wireless network to AT&T. It stopped working for over a year, I just assumed it was a virus. Finally when I couldn’t be without a computer at home anymore I took it to Tony. He not only made it faster than before but also made it like new! When I took it home it wouldn’t connect to my internet. I texted him, letting him know of my problem and immediately he connected on to my computer via team viewer and fixed it that same instant. I’m so very happy to have my (better than before) laptop back.

Tony was the happy ending to a very long and tortuous saga of a college student left stranded without a personal computer for three months. I had a busted motherboard in my laptop that Dell was unable to fix (which they told me after keeping the computer for about a month). I was afraid of losing a lot of pictures and school work that I had not backed up, but I took the laptop to Tony in a last ditch effort. First he tried to find a replacement motherboard, but when he was unable to find one he was able to recover all of my files and charged a very reasonable $ 100 for the whole job. He did all of this in about three days and was very professional and so nice! And so the college student and her newly backed-​up files lived happily ever after.

Give us this day our daily Internet and forgive us for not backing up our computers. As we forgive bad sectors that trespass against us. And lead us not into putting off burning copies of our files and photos, but deliver us from crashes. Amen.
My computer screen went black as I was looking at it. No warning. No hint of any kind.
I was told by the tech support call center that there was no hope of retrieving my data. This after he asked me if I was sure I had not accidently turned it off. At least that’s what I think he asked me, but I couldn’t hear him very well over my own screaming and crying.
Thanks to Tony, I have a new hard drive and all of my data restored. Yay!

Tony is amazing! I’ve used his expertise in the past once before with my work computer to retrieve some files… but this time it was serious.
I was right in the middle of finals, writing papers like crazy and all of a sudden my computer had this FBI warning or something, finding out that it was some sort of Randsomeware virus after immediately looking it up on my phone. It completely took over my computer at the worst possible time… My papers were due the following morning before noon.
I called Tony and he had me bring by my computer immediately. The turn around was extremely quick, he cleaned up some add ons, the cost was extremely fair, and no papers were lost in the process. Ultimately saving my computer and who knows how many full letter grades in two classes.
